It's that time of the year again, when they advertise really rubbish pamphlet-thin magazines that come with part of a collection each week, and would cost you about 300 quid were you to get them all.
So far this year I've seen one that gives away stones. I think they're probably mystic healing stones, or some such shit, but the sound was down.
What other ones are there? I doubt any'll top the model fire engines magazine from a few years back.

I love horses! Best of all the animals! I love horses! They're my friends!
I know that was ages ago, but that's going to take some beating.

During my GCSE English years, my mother purchased me about 12 "Talking Classics" (ie: books on tape).
I never used one and she gave up.

When I was a child I collected all of the Dinosaurs range. And I bought a few of Treasures of the Earth. Anyone else remember those?

I remember the Dinosaurs one - with the glow in the dark skelleton and the 3d pictures? I also remember "How The Body Works" which was in book form rather than magazine form, but you got it in the newsagents

I used to get Tree of Knowledge, until one of the features was filled with huge pictures of spiders, and from then on I was too scared to open the binder to file the rest away.

I saw one teaching you how to knit I was thinking of buying it and running up a few Guernseys. Where did I put my pipe?

When I was a child I collected all of the Dinosaurs range. Yay! The first issue was 50p. I think I bought a couple after that and then gave up.

I got Dinosaurs (we lost the peiece EVERY WEEK) and also treasures of the earth, which, if I remember right, did just look like odd pebbles and large bits of sand we found outside in the garden.
I also collected an Astrology magazine for BLOODY AGES but the parents were paying for it and found I had about 300 odd issues that I hadn't opened or filed away and that was the end of that.

I got every edition of Discovery. By the end I was just chucking them into the binder without reading them. Unfortunately my OCD stopped me from giving up without the complete set.

I used to get Who, what, where and why, At least I think it was called that.
When I was younger I got the Animals of Farthing Wood but my mum stopped buying it when I took it out one day and all the reusuable stickers blew away.

I had every single Animals Of Farthing Wood, despite the fact the fourth video made me cry, some newts died or something. I also had every issue of Find Out More- I think just purely for its "who? what, where, when, why? why must it die?" jingle. On the topic of "I Love Horses" I feel obliged to share this: profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=85098838

I used to get Where's Wally - Geography Edition Me too, "Wally's World" I think they called it. I also had The Animals of Farthing Wood, Spinechillers, and How My Body Works, like Scissorsister. I remember feeling all naughty when the sex issue arrived. I never managed to build the body model. Felicity Wishes looks fucking amazing.

Felicity Wishes pisses me off.
Felicity has a crown. She is clearly a princess. Not a 'cake maker', trawlerman or Navy Seal or whatever she wishes she was. Deal with your life of luxury you spoilt commitee planned rag.
And what's a cake maker anyway? That isn't a job.

I had femminst moan about Felicity Wishes. All little girls can be when they grow-up is a cake-maker, nurse or fairy.
