So she's gonna be a popstar.
I bet Xenomania are creaming themselves right now at the prospect of working with Nikki. She won't need a surname as she's such a star, just a first name.
Has she not followed Jennifer Ellison's career? ??

Has she not followed Jennifer Ellison's career? ?? No, no one has. I think that was rather the problem.

How excellent could it be if the storyline involves Candice being discovered by some talent scout and being whisked off to become a pop-star.
Go Corrie scriptwriters, go!

I think I'd like it better if Candice told everyone that's what she was going to do but in reality she was actually going to be a waitress-slash-pole dancer.

Do you mean corrie Candice or the actress that plays her?
At this juncture, it could go either of two ways.

Maybe she could do a guest spot as a desperate wannabe on Footballers' Wives: Extra Time.
Or alternatively do what Tracey Shaw did and film her debut pop video beside a Canal in Castlefield.

I can't wait. I love Nikki in a crap way. I reckon she'll do a Valance and have a really good debut single. Then it will all go a bit iffy.

Assuming the first single will be a Tracy Shaw-esque cover, what do we think it'll be?
Ladies and gents, please place your bets.
I'd like her to do Sonia's 'You'll Never Stop Me From Loving You'.

Or Sabrina's 'Boys', if she can rush-release it in time for summer party season. Whether she'll be able to top the all-out genius that was 'Boys And Girls', the charity Christmas cover version performed by the Cheeky Girls and Andy Newton-Lee is another matter entirely.

Go the whole hog (and ready herself for the inevitable appearance halfway up the bill at Manchester Pride)
Santa Maria (Sam Fox)
or Who's Leaving Who (Hazell Dean)

Couldn't care less what she does afterwards, I'm just ecstatic she's going.

I agree with Moondial, she's a pain in the fanny.
Also, I sat behind her at the Britney concert at Manchester last year and loads of little kids were going up to her wanting photos. She was pretendly, albeit very badly, that she was doing it only to be polite but she was being a laughing stack of coy, cos she clearly LOVED the attention.
Me and my mate did the twatty thing of taking the piss by shouting "Candeeeece, Candeeece" and screaming.

Wasn't it Candice who pushed for Sarah-Lou to call her child Britney? How I loved that storyline. I loved Candice when she was Sarah-Lou's common friend.

I wonder if Tina O'Brien will be following in Nikki Sanderson's footsteps after her rendition of 'Round Round' in Gail's kitchen (not to be confused with Martika's kitchen) yesterday.
Somehow I doubt it.

Round Round is a kitchen favourite on Corrie.
*remembers Toyah dancing around to it in the kitchen and singing along over enthusiastically yet dully at the same time*

Somehow I doubt it. Did you miss Tina, Nikki, and Katy-Lucy-Jo-Harris, doing Lady Marmalade on of those awful ITV Mania shows? Much better than the blokes who did Queen a few weeks back. Lucy-Jo looked horrifc in a body stock and silver plumage, Nikki and Tina were stunning.

you're such a media gay, but in a good way
was Lucy Jo as car crash as it looked like on telly, or am I just being cruel?

you're such a media gay, but in a good way Hee! Thank you...I think. Lucy-Jo looked very masculine. She's surprisingly muscular. It probably didn't help that the two girls stood next to her were so petite.
