i like it when he says "try something new todaaaaaaaay" and the camera zooms away from him, because i imagine him filming the ad in front of a green screen in a studio looking like a total twat.

Isn't the table tennis advert for Channel 4, not Sainsburys? Or am I seeing things again? Anyway. I quite like it, mainly because it is done so very well. (Not that it would be hard to composite a small white ball flying across a table, but whatevz.) I like him whippin ghis clothes off as well, because its so very unexpected.

my mistake, miss m. i was blinded by the oliver hate. i've not seen the table tennis ad yet, but next time you see the sainsburys one imagine him bellowing at the ceiling like an overgrown toddler, it will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart.

It really annoys me how they've bollocksed up the once great Channel 4 faces adverts, because they felt some need to inexplicably make them WACKY and RANDOM and TRENDY and COOL and all those bollocks things that marketing people suggest when there's absolutely nothing wrong with something in the first place and they realise they'll lose their jobs if that gets out.
Just get back to asking a random question to a person who is on Channel 4 and let them be interesting in their own right, for fuck's sake. Stupid Channel 4 ruins everything.

As I'm sure I've said before, the words one was my favourite: Dr Weaver from ER saying 'foxtrot' very seductively, and Elliot from Scrubs saying 'wedgie' at the end.
Having said that, the new Kevin McCloud ending where he says he used to be a magician and tries to disappear behind a cloud of smoke did make me smile. But yes, it was better when they were just the question-answer set up.

I absolutely hate these as well. I am glad it's not just me. They used to be nice little ads but now they are bollocky. I hate the About A Boy boy one with his guardian angel. His delivery of those lines is so crap. the first time I saw it I just knew that his bit was the fake "jokey" ending coz he sounds so wooden.

I didn't like this, the only funny 'evil' faces one was Alan Carr yelling at a kid to polish his shoes.

There's another channel 4 one with Jamie Oliver in. He's on a Team Building weekend with Gordon Ramsey and someone else. Gordon has left them to build the raft and it falls apart. Shame they didn't put it in the water with Jamie on before it did.

That's a clip from the programme they are doing together, no? Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall is bloke #3, I think.
The weirdest one of these is Gordon Ramsay conducting the orchestra doing Zombie by The Cranberries. It's just odd.
