The bloke with his animated Flash sidekick Little Howard? Yes! He's excellent this year, The Little Howard and Big Howard thread is about him.

That's assuming that's you mean Read, though. Otherwise, I haven't a clue - no mention in the Fringe brochure, anyway.

For an alternative viewpoint, however, Fest only give him 2 stars and state that "terminally mediocre comedians need their technological quirks"

yeah, they've been mean about him before. i find him very likable, so i generally ignore. he had an awesome rant about one of the main reviewers last year.

The review smacked very much of having already been written before the girl went to see the show.

I have another question. Was the robot involved? Did he go "Wooooooooooooo!"? Did he call an audience member a cunt? That was my favourite bit of last year's festival, except for the moment Kitson called someone a vapid whore.

Humourbot 4000, or whatever he was called, was a vital part of the show, welcoming the audience as we shuffled to our seats and, later in the show, blowing himself up as an act of self-sacrifice to try and save Little Howard from being taken into care, which didn't work. There were "Woooo!"'s a plenty, but I can't remember him calling anyone a cunt. Little Howard did call Brooke, the bloke who owns the Pleasance's dog, a flea-bitten arse sniffer, though.
