I've got a DAB Digital Radio but don't know what to listen to. Despite the choice, every station seems to play the same KT Tunstall and Coldplay songs. At the moment everybody seems to be playing The Ordinary Boys.
Who do you like to listen to, on which stations and when?

Capital Disney is great - you're rarely more than 5 minutes away from a Rachel Stevens song. And one of this very messageboard's members is a DJ on it!

I have recently found out that Craig Charles (he of Red Dwarf and Corrie fame) presents the best radio show I have ever heard. It is simply called Craig Charles' Funk Show and plays excellent soul, funk and classic R'n'B. It is on BBC Radio 6 on Friday and Saturday evenings, you can have a look at his previous playlists on the BBC website.

My friend works on Core and I think they play some new pop quite often. I used to like Virgin Classic Groove before going out in the evening.
Chill is also really good to er chill to!

I am loving Capital Disney, I've always flicked past it before but it does indeed play some excellent music! I'm a bit concerned that I may be at least 15 years older than the target audience though...

radio 7 is usually quite good, it seems like an archive-type radio for radio 4's comedy and drama the 'comedy controler' show is quite good, it's usually a comedian selecting their favourite shows from the archive, 'on the hour' also seems to come up a lot which is always good

I recommend Xfm whenever Kenickie's own Lauren Laverne or the hilariously funny Adam and Joe are on.
Ok, the music may be a bit schmindie but it's not all bad.

Do they still have the one with the birdsong? I like that one.

I'm listening to Capital Disney now! I used to listen to it lots last year, and am thus suprised that I haven't heard a Rachel Stevens or Girls Aloud album track yet. They've played George Michael twice in the last hour though, which is odd.

I'm very annoyed with my digital radio because it has stopped telling the time. As I use it as my alarm clock, this is quite important. Pure have told me that I need to update the software but it just wont work. Grrr.
Edit: it's started telling the time again after two weeks of resting.

I am in the market for a digital radio, I can't take the TV into the bathroom with me. Does anyone have any recommendations? Some of them look lovely but cost megabucks. I'd quite like one that looks lovely and has a better price.

My dad's got one but you can't get any good stations on it. Well, not Capital Disney anyway, and without that what's the point? You may as well just have Radio 1 on, since it doesn't cost anything.

I must recommend BBC7. Lots of great comedy on there, including Round The Horne and stand-up. If you miss anything, there's always "Listen Again" for a week. www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/listenagain
