I once phoned up his show and requested an old song by the Manics on the day before my maths Standard Grade (GCSE to you south of the border types) - he proposed to me, and I said I'd meet him at Gretna Green. I always found him very funny and am sad to hear of his death.

Raymond Sinclair, the bloke who kept inserting words into the middle of other words and the joke about the Eskimo at the Garage.
I've not listened to R1 on a regular basis since Kevin left.
