But if you live in Scotland, you should totally watch this !
I hate the rrrrrrrrrrrolly rrrrrrrrr's of the voiceover, but I think it's pretty well put together over all. Not to mention the amazing policy, of course..
I wish UKIP's broadcast was on the internet, it was fecking high-larious! Like a clip from Brass Eye or something. I laughed out loud that the BNP had gone to the trouble to film our Stanley Street headquarters when they slagged us off in their broadcast - and how they thought the Greens weren't worthy of your vote because they're "gaylovers"! (Okay, they didn't say that, they said "The Greens spend more time campaigning on gay rights than the environment!!!!!!!!11!!!!1!!1")
Anyway, I'll stop talking now, lowculture doesn't 'do' politics o'course!

That is rather cool for a Party Political Broadcast. I particularly liked the strangely old fashioned clothes and the cute little ferry full of happy Scots going about their business. And the fish. Beats Geri Halliwell making old dears tea anyway.

There were some very good PPBs in the mid 90s for Labour. There was one with Stephen Fry and Michelle Collins that I remember fondly. EDIT: That PPB can be found here. I've just found this PPB for Plaid Cymru which features slaggy gay and pompous MP Adam Price and a folk singing actor chap who IS a welsh speaker and the main character in Caerdydd to boot. I wouldn't be surprised if they rope in Glyn Wise for next month's elections. I don't want to vote for any low grade Welsh politicians though, I want to vote for Ségolène Royal.

You're the only one who does. Poor Sergo. Even in France chicness will only get you so far.
I want to be devloved. You get a better sort of left wing politics and better adverts.

That Fry and Laurie one is great - "Blow me!".. doesn't really make all that much sense, mind.. The Greens one this year was shite, not even Rory McCann makes me want to support them, turncoat bastards: www.scottishgreens.org.uk/site/id/5723/title/Election_Broadcast.htmlApparently the voiceover is Michelle Gomez, but it sounds like a computer.

I'm not going to name the candiate, the party or the constituency but I've just realised I dated one the candidates standing in my local area. He was so dull that I fell asleep making out with him on more than one occasion. He was also possibly a catalyst to a series of events that lead my life to take a turn for the worse. I say possibly because I was fairly paranoid of many people's motives back then not just his.

One of my friends has slept with the slaggy gay Plaid MP linked to in my earlier post, I went on a date with a Liberal Democrat MP before he was elected, and I chatted to Chris Bryant (Labour) on gaydar once, before the underpants photo furore, and when I asked him what Tony Blair would think about him slagging himself around on the net, he replied "He'd praise my initiative".
And to be politically correct and equal, I've heard some disturbing stories about Nick Bourne, the leader of the Welsh Conservatives.
I wouldn't want to date a politician. Except Ben Bradshaw.

Using my amazing powers of deduction (and www.alba.org.uk/scot07constit/g00.html), I have concluded that you live in Baillieston, Govan, Kelvin or Shettleston. Yes, I am bored, and yes, I am being judgemental and looking for the most 'gay looking' candidates. And yes, I am a creep.

I realise that we've never met but I'm little insulted that you think I may have bedded a young Conservative. Unless you are insinuating that something might have happened between me and George Jackson and I'm not willing to confirm or deny that.

I was, of course, thinking that he might have been one of these closet Conservative types and never revealed his true identity to you
And I didn't want to pre-judge your own voting intentions.. Hehe
**Hahahaha I've just realised who George Jackson is.. Scottish Christian Party? Rofl rofl rofl rofl. Did you see their PPB? "Before WW2, Hitler banned Kosher food. Then he started killing Jews. Next week, the Sexual Orientation Act comes into force. THEY WILL START KILLING THE CHRISTIANS NEXT!!" I think someone forgot to mention to him that Hitler killed da gays too.
