I don't even have a car, but for some reason want a Brummie man to come round and fix my chipped glass.* Now that's good advertising!
*I now await RtD to comment about said man coming round to fill me with his special gel.

I know! It looks like top fun. Although I would like to do the actual gelling myself. It's fascinating, everytime it comes on, I pay special attention to see if I can work out how the gel does its magic. And it's great to see Brummish people on telly, they've been soley represented by Lenny Henry for too long.

I've not seen this ad. Does it have the same jingle as their radio ad?

It does have the same jingle as the radio I think and its also the same jingle in France, fact fans! Except its called Carglass there. As thats where I first heard the jingle my brain translates it into French every time I hear it now. 'Carglass repare, Carglass remplace!' Ah the things I learnt from a year abroad, ever so useful!

I was going to start a thread about this!
But I couldn't for the life of me work out how to type out the jingle (which is the only good thing about the advert).
So that's where I left it.

[pedant]Lenny Henry isn't a Brummie[/pedant] I agree, though, it's good to see fellow Brummies on TV, especially those who are actually from Birmingham and not an actor with a "comedy" accent.

I haven't seen the ad either, but I love how the banner ad on top of this thread is for Autoglass.

I keep getting banner ads now which basically say: 'If your crack is smaller than a pound coin, don't wait, get it filled today!' I take it it's still for Autoglass.

I had an ad banner about online drag queens earlier today, I shit you not. I can't begin to imagine why.

There used to be a thread about these banner ads on here a while back for that sort of thing. It was what the "print screen" button is for!
