I hate this advert. Surely Cheese Strings can't just be cheese, there has to be some rubber added. Also the kid is all smug because it's "just cheese" and not junk food, but don't most schools have a general no eating inside rule no matter what type or food it is?

The kid needs a thump.

The kid needs a thump. (Lowculture does not condone child abuse.) Unless it involves the Birdseye botherer?

They sound too much like G-strings to me, which is wholly off-putting. Cheesy knickers, no thanks.

I have to say this is one of the most informative ads on telly at the moment. Who knew they contained cheese at all?! They'll be telling us next there's cheese in a Kraft Cheese Silce.

I can't imagine the Head Teacher would be that interested to be honest

If he got to be the headteacher without ever knowing what cheese is then I'm not surprised education is in the state it's in

Slightly off topic but my mum has to send my brother, who lives in England, boxes of 'Kraft Cheesy Pasta' because he's not able to buy it there. It's a very popular Scottish thing to eat from the 60s/70s and is still a top seller in places like Asda. I wonder why it never took off south of the border. I've not had it for years but I loved eating the cheesy powder straight from the packet with a wet finger!

I love the interspersed clips of lovely green grass and happy healthy cows to show how cheese is "made". How misleading.
I remember buying Kraft Cheesy Pasta when I was in first year at uni from the local digs shop. I foolishly thought it was going to taste like actual proper macaroni, how wrong I was.

Aha, the renowned Canadian staple, Kraft Dinner! I didn't even know you could get it over here.

"We wouldn't have to eat Kraft dinner! But we would, we'd just eat more!"

Oh my god Kraft Cheesy Pasta (If you say cheesy pasta in Scotland you'll know what type is meant) is the best thing ever. It does absolutely stink out the house but it is wonderful. I always overload it with butter.

Kraft is amazing, but incredibly stodgy and properly terrible for you.

Cheesy Pasta (yes, i'm Scottish) was one of my favourite childhood treats. It only made me laugh more when I found out that it was what Terrence and Philip were talking about on South Park when they were preparing their "KROFFTDINNAH!"
