He'll have to hurry up with his visions if he's going down that route. Judging from last night's highlights, Belinda's already speaking in tongues.
Lisa getting splashed with hot juicy tea and just going "oh" = love.
Darnell can officially never ever mention how people are desperate for airtime ever again, after that stupid unfunny spontaneous drama piece.

Lisa getting splashed with hot juicy tea and just going "oh" = love. That made me want to slap Mikey. He's been blind long enough to know that he shouldn't be shoving about exactly because he might hit someone. Sara flirting with Darnell was on a par with her Mikey-teasing. It was embarrassing how excited he got about it. Dale is great - I love watching his eyes flicker when people are talking as he tries to process the information.

Rachel was ace as a mime, and I also agree about liking Lisa's lack of reaction to Mikey walking into her and making her spill tea all over herself. Other than that, the highlights show was a bit boring, but I suppose they always are when they have to do "all day" tasks like that.

I've missed it for the last few nights but managed to catch the highlights show last week. There was a question I wanted to ask:
Has Luke's reason for 'being unwell' been specified at any point? Or is it just because he's a weedy whiner.
And Bex breaking the bike was hi-larious!
I really liked Stuart too. For the first time since he's been in there he seemed to actually warrant an opinion. It's just a shame for him that they are blatantly going to fail.
I don't think Rex will go. The three new girls were put in the house so that all the other housemates could last a few more weeks... Belinda will go, then (hopefully) Sara and then maybe Maysoon (after housemates turn on her for being Asian, two-faced, too-nice etc) though of all them Maysoon could last the longest (especially if she's carries on doing fuck all... I really want her to start behaving like the spoilt uber-bitch model with a not-so cunning game plan that she promised...)
WIth regards to winners I see a Dale, Mikey, Luke, Stuart and Katreya final (the sixth/seventh people I don't know... Rachel? Lisa? Maybe even rex or Bex could last?) And I still think Katreya will win (not just because she's my sweepie). I guess Dale could win, if he carries on showing more pretence of personality it could be his to win. He'll get the pretty-boy vote for sure, and he slowly seems to be pulling off the foundations of a game plan that Luke and Rex wish they'd have executed. And he's much more likeable now Jen's gone (and he's not a submissive lap-dog). But if he did win, 90% of the votes would be because he's pretty. Mikey and Stuart will see the final because no one will nominate/evict them, but equally, no-one cares enough to vote for them to win (see all of BB4 finalists bar Cameron, BB5's Shell...)
There are far too many people in that house. I think BB needs a double eviction. And soon. But not, shock!twist!ey. Just choose the three with the most votes (I'm so surprised that it's got this far with only two people up each week) and evict the two least popular. Don't warn them, don't make a big deal of it. Just have Davina announce after interview number one that evictee two has been evicted. Immediate shock!twist!. Eviction Interview. Everyone gets over the shock!twist! within half an hour and carries on as normal.
I'm also glad they've played no Charley/Nikki style eviction tricks yet...

Dale did something useful last night when he pointed out that if Rex stays it doesn't mean he is liked. Bex was like that on Friday. When stayed she thought it was because she is popular. No, it was because Mario was hated a bit more than you.

I thought Dale was quite right. Rex was getting even more smug at the chance of beating Belinda. A little reminder that winning an eviction doesn't mean you're hugely popular was quite reasonable.

No, it was because Mario was hated a bit more than you. It always amazes me how the housemates seem to presume that. Given they all must have seen how the show works. Rex genuinely seemed to be under the impression that if he stayed, it was definitive proof that he was adored by the public. He might be (or at least some sections of it), but beating Belinda in a vote is hardly proof of anything, other than he is less hated than she is (especially seeing as they don't find out the voting percentages). I see Rex is moaning on about how he finds everything boring and wants to leave again. I wonder how long it will be before someone points out to him that he can walk out the door any time he wants. Preferably they could push him in the right direction. Edit: I think the reaction to that topped even the outrage over Dale voting for himself for outstanding idiocy. I particularly loved the attempts to present it as an example of Dale's fabled stoopidity. HA HA HE SO FICK: HE FINK LOGGIKALY & MAKE REESONBLE POYNT. WOT A BASTARD.

I not only went to primary school with Bex, I get the bus home from work with a girl who works in the same nursery. Apparently she's like that all the time. She is "quite good with the kids" though, so that's something I guess.

No, it was because Mario was hated a bit more than you. I think several of them believed Bex had to be popular, because Mario had already survived eviction and they assumed he was well-liked. I don't remember if any of them tried to tell her staying didn't mean anything. If they didn't, then they might as well allow others to buy into the same delusion.

See, nominating her because she's boring or you just plain don't like her-that's the whole point. But apart from the fact that people constantly decry her for stuff she's not doing-IN THE FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY THEMSELVES ARE DOING THE SAME STUFF-it irritates me when they get out, slag her in the post eviction interview for being "two faced" and show absolutely no remorse or embarrassment when they're informed that not only did she not backstab anybody, they themselves did and everyone in the country saw it. The level of unwarranted self importance here is breathtaking even for Big Brother contestants. I completely agree. I actually love Rachel; she confronts the people she cares about if they're behaving badly, and doesn't bother with the rest. I cheer whenever she tells Rex to shut up.

There's a heck of a lot of anti-Rex threads on Digital Spy, to be fair.
Dale's a cert for the final and I really can't think he deserves it. But he's unlikely to ever receive a nomination. Nobody on the hell side had a bad word to say about his failure in the wine task, all their ire was reserved for Mo.

Nobody on the hell side had a bad word to say about his failure in the wine task, all their ire was reserved for Mo. That was only Luke really, to be fair. Mikey was slagging them generally. But the wine task was one they were never ever going to pass really. Maybe Rex might have had a chance, but even then I doubt it. Mo would have eaten the baguette no trouble though - Kat would have been left with crumbs... If anyone manages to stay friendly with every single housemate for the full 3 months, to the extent that they don't get a single nom, then they well deserve to be in the final, cos that really isn't easy. Whether they deserve to win or not is a different matter. Anyway, I think Darnell has wrecked any chance he had of winning after tonights incident with Sara. It was just bizarre. The rest of the house looked flabbergasted.

Yeah, I was waiting for that from the moment that Sara started play-flirting with him, remembering what happened to Bex when she "made Darnell frustrated". Issues with women, that boy. Serious issues with women.
I think Stuart's the only person to go pillar to post without picking up a nomination, and he had the advantage of being in a series with a lot of twists around nominating. If Dale makes it in this series with a lack of nomination twists then he definitely deserves to get there (although I don't think he will).
Actually Dale reminds me a lot of Stu - both the "dull fit male housemate", both calmed people down when their series Fight Night started to go too far (although obv. Stu behaved a lot better in general around his Fight Night), both fell into the clutches of an evil woman with a man-trapping vagina, both straddled the two major alliances but mostly hung around with the other "macho guys", both obviously fairly bright but incredibly inarticulate.
Maybe people worried that Dale's going to OMG STEAL THE SERIES should comfort themselves with the fact that Stu came 5th and got beaten by Shell of all people (I floved Shell, but she wasn't eaxctly what you'd call a fan-favourite).
Obviously I'm also hoping the parallels extend to a trans-sexual (ie Lisa) winning the whole thing.

EDIT: And Chicken Stu, according to the above.

Damnit I forgot the Twins. Quite a few other people never received nominations ever, but only because they were thrown out/walked/evicted due to a twist/were only in the house for 12 days before the final.

Am I the only one who likes Bex and Luke?
I'm not trying to be all fangirl-y here (and thank god the smiting has been removed) but I do find them entertaining and quite sweet.
The gossiping and bitching always happens as there is NOTHING else to talk about. Luke is an old woman, who probably doesn't have much to gossip about outside the house so is enjoying being in the midst of it. And I think Bex is just like that all the time.
I wouldn't want to live them, but they're fun to watch.

Darnell seriously made me sick with his demanding rice from Sara for no reason and then refusing it- it actually made me feel actual disgust and almost made me cry. So cruel and unnessesary- say hi to nomination of Monday you knob (fortuneatly it was to emotion-bot Sara so it wasnt too hideous).
Lisa made me laugh so much with her 20 frankfurter subs after the club story (and sometimes going back for another!). Starting to love her a bit.

Shell must have been quite popular. Intentionally or not she managed to alter the outcome of an eviction vote- Jason would have been evicted instead of Victor but for the wedding night task where Victor made Shell cry yet again. To be fair to her, she wasn't really any duller than Chicken Stu. Regarding Luke and Bex- Bex's infuriating childishness annoys me, as does Luke's constant bitching, and how he seems to think he'd be a good leader- nobody in that house takes him seriously. However, I do enjoy their double act, and I think they have both been among the better housemates this year. Bex can be very lively when she wants to be, and Luke can be quite funny. They have provided some good moments individually and together. There are others I'd rather see go before them. Oh yes, and Darnell was a total wanker to Sara. He's getting on my nerves going on about his "B Block gang" and how quickly he gets nasty to women who've flirted with him a bit.
