I'm amazed that Alex is up, I'd have assumed the powers that be would have pulled some strings to keep her in. Vote away!

Alexandra, I guess, and hopefully Mario next week. See - when they don't mess with the nominations, the right people are up for eviction.

The housemates have got this spot on: Alex and Mario the least popular, with showings for Dennis, Darnell and Sylvia amongst the nominations.

I'm genuinely torn. I can't stand either of them, but if Alex goes, you know half those eleventy billion nominations are going to Sylvia and she'll be up and out. And Sylvia's my second favourite after Luke at the moment. Additionally there's signs of Mario being designated a "legend" meaning he'll probably get enough support to get far despite being a twat because he's a "character" (see also : Jason, Richard, Nikki, Jade)
Then again you know proper nominations won't happen for another 7 weeks anyway, and Alex is a rancid bitch so...

I'm reserving judgement for now as I hate them both, although probably Alex the most. Mario is a bit of a twofer though, as him being evicted will hopefully negatively impact upon Lisa. I'm glad that at least they both know that their housemates hate them.

I voted for Mario. This is because when he was sunbathing in the garden during nominations I felt physically sick...
And Alex is sort of driving the show at the moment. Though when she goes I see Mario's days as numbered anyway so it doesn't really matter...

Oooooh. Intrigue!
Somebody walked? Or got chucked out? Or just a really *really* desperate bid to keep Alex in to keep the arguments going? Maybe Mario felt the need to leave immediately and greet his fanclub...

Curious. I too am torn but if Mario doesn't go this week, he'll be up again next week.

According to their website, Alex and Mario are no longer classed as "Nominated".

Alex has been kicked out, apparently.

I wonder what she's done to justify that? Must be pretty bad. Unless it was just that they were worried about her safety I guess.

Press Release:
"Contestant Alexandra De-Gale has been removed from the Big Brother house for repeatedly breaking the programme’s rules by behaving in an unacceptable and sometimes intimidating manner towards fellow housemates.
Alex was in discussion with Darnell in the living room shortly after 10.15pm yesterday evening (17th June), with a number of other housemates in proximity.
Discussing her nomination for this week’s eviction, Alex was heard to make apparently intimidatory comments about her intentions on leaving the house. Shortly afterwards, Dennis, Rebecca and Rex discussed her comments in the garden and were clear that they found her behaviour to be threatening, a view that Rex repeated subsequently during a diary room discussion with Big Brother.
This incident follows a series of arguments involving Alex since the ninth series of Big Brother started on 5th June. She has twice been called to the diary room and reminded of the rules governing behaviour towards other housemates.
Her latest remarks were not screened via the ‘as live’ streaming on E4 but were reported up to senior production staff. The decision was taken to remove Alex from the house on the grounds that she had repeatedly broken the programme’s rules governing housemates’ behaviour, despite twice being reminded of her responsibilities.
Alex was called to the Diary Room at approximately 8pm on Wednesday 18th June to be informed of the decision and was removed from the house without further contact with other contestants.
She was one of two housemates nominated for eviction this week and as a result, in line with the terms and conditions covering phone voting on Big Brother, the latest eviction vote has been cancelled.
Angela Jain, Head of E4 and Big Brother at Channel 4, said: “Alex’s comments will be widely interpreted as having been intended to intimidate. Other housemates have said they found her comments to be threatening and we believe that is a reasonable conclusion for them to have reached given the way Alex has behaved previously.
“Big Brother has very clear rules about housemates’ conduct and that kind of behaviour is not acceptable. She had already been spoken to twice about her behaviour and, like all housemates, was clearly informed before entering the house that she faced eviction if she acted in an unacceptable manner.”

Oh well. It's probably for the best. Why did they never put her in the jail??

Oh well. It's probably for the best. Why did they never put her in the jail?? Exactly - after all this "zero tolerance" business, they've just done the warnings as they normally would, and chucked her out. I'm not saying a stint in "jail" would have made a difference, but it seems pointless to have one if you're not going to use it.

I don't know, I think they've taken her out because the public reaction during a normal Friday eviction would have been too much. I don't get what "intimidatory comments about her intentions on leaving the house" could me. I don't get how saying she is going to leave can be intimidatory, unless it was along the lines off "I'm gonna leave the house and cut Rex's mum one time."
EDIT: Oh my, it turns out I wasn't far off:
I'm not throwing water at anyone. It's bigger than that ... personal offence is never forgotten. Do you know what I mean?
"We are just inside the house. I've got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house".
She added: "I just can't wait to see my mans and them and see what their plans are, who they got ... I'm not talking about those mans, I'm talking about my gangster friends. They got some instructions to follow out."
She added later: "I get to go out, see everyone's friends, I get to see their family. I get to do the shit that I wanna do. Pow, pow, pow."

This woman is a thoroughly depressing individual, and the only surprise here is that Channel 4 should have allowed her to remain in the house for this long. It's fairly obvious that the silly cow is all talk, but that's not really the point, is it?

So glad they've actually thrown somebody out for the death threats. I remember Lesley doing it to Sam in BB6 and not getting so much as a formal warning. I haven't thought that anything Alex has done up until now has warranted Big Brother intervention, but that's completely beyond the pale.
Actually in the end Alex turned out to be another Lesley in the end, rather than another Charley. Monotonous bully with back-up of gay guy and black girl, relentlessly chipping away at a fairly harmless (if annoying) housemate until she got an early boot and hopefully most people forgot she ever existed.

Normally I'd agree, but given that her boyfriend/fiance/pimp is currently in prison until he goes on trial for either murder, or attempted murder, I'd rather them not test fate.

I was having a bit of a moan to a friend last night about the piss poor state of BB this year and how fake Davina's enthusiasm seems when their mobile went and Davina told them Alex was out.
According to said friend Davina really is that excited about BB and really does follow it all 24/7.
