Is anyone else watching this? The Graun has a really sneery weekly blog that's basically 'oh, it's sooooo sloooooow and the music sucks' but I'm quite enjoying it. I know not a lot happens but it's still managing to keep my attention and it looks amazing.

I am enjoying it, but it doesn't feel like classic Poliakoff, yet. It's no Shooting The Past, that's for sure, but then what is?
He is such a beautiful director I wish he'd do more cinema.
Is Jane Asher in next week's episode or do we have to wait until the finale?

I'm just loving letting it wash over me. (Shooting the Past is one of my favourite pieces of tv ever)

I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but I've made it further in than all the other Poliakoff's I've tried to watch. I tend to get drawn in by the trailers then don't even make it through the first episode. Maybe I should try harder.

Assault! Racism! Cheese! Nazi cocktail sticks!
(also the Guardian blog is hilarious. The author is mixing it in the comments as well)

I think I'm stupid because I must have lost attention and... I clearly missed the reveal of if it was Julian or the creepy hotel man who killed Jessie.
Although if it was Julian as the Music Express implied, then how rubbish as he was the obvious suspect anyway

Just before Julian killed himself, he confessed to the waitress in the greasy spoon that he'd murdered Jessie.

I must have blinked and missed that particular reveal then. Oh well. I'd hoped there would be a small twist.
