Tonight's episode just made me wonder which person is more deserving of two minutes of BBC2. So I did a poll!

I actually turn the sound off whenever either is on, but Doug Stanhope is much, much worse.

Didn't see last night's episode but caught the week before. The Doug Stanhope 'stand-up' bit was edited insanely, and he looked incredibly nervous throughout. Also, he is just so shouty and not nearly as clever as he thinks he is.
Also, Tim Key is totally fit. There. I said it. I'm sorry.

I like Tim Key. It was a journey to get to this point, but I'm comfortable with where I am.

I tend to zone out whenever Tim Key's poems are on, but I voted for him as he's far, far less annoying than Doug Stanhope.

I don't like either of them. Doug Stanhope isn't even remotely funny, he just says stuff. Give me Shitpeas and Cunk anytime!

Barry Shitpeas and Philomena Cunk have been my favourite parts of the new series. I particularly like the captions underneath them, for example "Barry Shitpeas - Lifeform", "Philomena Cunk - Showbiz Liker" and when they were talking about Richard III in the car park "Philomena Cunk - Historian" and "Barry Shitpeas - Also Historian".

Can't stand either but Stanhope has actually made me smile over several series, something the poet has never managed. So I'm voting Stanhope.
(But Shitpeas and Cunk have been great this series so far. The dissection of The One Show, Bruce Willis and Die Harderer was awesome)

Is it really necessary to have a clip show as the final episode in a series that is only six episodes long??

I feel cheated. However, Charlie going "hiyaaa" still makes me laugh like a loon.

A clip show in a series that has only six episodes is a little pointless. I'd rather they'd have just done 5 episodes and not bother with the clip show one.
If the series is coming back I hope they drop the You Have Been Watching style chat show bit, because I didn't find any of those funny or interesting, apart from that one where he was talking to two other versions of himself. I think one of the problems with that bit is there isn't enough time to get much discussion going. It has to be an isolated segment and the total length of an episode is only half an hour, so they've only got a few minutes. I can't help thinking those few minutes that it takes up could be put to better use.
Again, I think Barry Shitpeas and Philomena Cunk were the funniest things about Weekly Wipe.

It was what always frustrated me about You Have Been Watching - a game show format was hoisted onto what could have been an interesting show to watch. There was an episode of YHBW with Brooker, David Mitchell, Victoria Coren and Andy Nyman - I'd watch them talk about anything for thirty minutes.

I think the problem with Weekly Wipe is that it's trying to combine News Wipe and Screen Wipe but somehow they work better separately than together - maybe as it gives Brooker a bit more time/focus.
