I'm not a big fan of the street but like a good old murder/suicide/tragedy. So I just wondered when this was all kicking off so I don't have to watch anymore than I need to?

I never thought I'd say this, but I think Lucy-Jo Hudson's done a fantastic job with this storyline. I didn't really rate her as an actor before, but I'm sitting corrected.

I've just finished watching the Corrie omnibus.
Oh. My. Goodness. How well have they handled this storyline? I never thought I'd be rating a Harris-centred plot as they've been the very essence of dreariness since they first came into the Street, but...
The whole thing was just so well thought-out and written. A sensational storyline that's not being handled in a melodramatic manner. Just bloody good drama.

I have enjoyed the drama but I refuse to change my stance on Lucy-jo Hudson. She's crap. But that's been the joy of the whole storyline.

I love Lucy-Jo. I get thrilled at every moment. Waiting for her twitch. Waiting for her to cave in and reveal all.

I'm loving Lucy Jo Hudson's new Joan Crawford-esque method of acting. She could almost have been playing Monica Rivers in tonight's episode, if you ignore the fact that she's a 17 year old schoolgirl and not the 70 year old ringleader of a travelling circus.

I loved Gail's scene with Audrey the other night.
Corrie has done a fantastic job with handling (yet another) murder in a different, realistic way. I wouldn't've considered the impact Martin's arrest had on Gail under the circumstances.

Corrie is doing this so well. It really is the best soap right now and Eastenders would be wise to sit up and take note at how this is done. Instead you have Chrissie talking on a mobile pretending to be Den, which can easily be traced by the police when the time is right.
Corrie all the way.

That sounds like some comedy you'd see in The Simpsons. in fact it's just like when Homer kills Ned and has Ned on the roof "talking" to Maud.

Trust me, I couldn't make up something as lame as that. Killer Katy though, is a sensation and if the little actress that plays her doesn't get an award then I'll eat my scarf.

Dear Corronation Street producers, Due to recent achievements in the field of being a convincing soap killer, can Kay-teh have a new haircut? Preferably one that doesn't look like she's trying to conceal a receeding hairline. It's the least you can do, as Chrissie will probably win her award because Eastenders always does, and she does have better hair.

I used to think Lucy Jo Hudson was a great actress, but all she's done these last two weeks is squeal and convulse.
Perhaps understandably, but still - it's annoying.

I am sorry, but if I had killed my Dad I wouldn't be simpering round like a total spacker. Way to get caught, Katy. What they should have done is hid the body down the Red Reck and let Monica devour it. They could have hid the murder weapon behind Vera Duckworth's infamous duck artwork, which proudly hangs in her living room, obviously concealing a safe full of a load of knocked off stuff that Terry forgot about.
By the time the police ever found it, Jack and Vera would be dead and what sort of copper would suspect a dead old bird and her deceased husband with a dicky liver?
Katy is a fucking stupid-head.
