I think it's official: the panel (bar Karen) hates Suzanne. She deserved a better score than that, although I will concede that Karen's 5.5 was also on the ludicrous side. But seriously: 4.0? I hardly think so.

You damn ITV viewers had better not have saved Greg bloody Rusedski and put my lovely Zaraah in the skate-off.

Even if she is, which I doubt, there's no way she'll go! Rest easy, Zaraah and Fred fans!

It's the DANCING ON ICE sweepstake!(aka the sweepstake we don't care about nearly as much as X Factor or Strictly, but it's going to get us through January February, damn it.)

I'm proper cross that Zaraah was bottom two, for all I don't care about this stupid show. It's odd that Linda appears to be tying up the ITV1 Soap Alumnus vote, even though Zaraah spent more time on Corrie than Linda did on Emmerdale (although arguably Linda had the bigger part of the two).
Zaraah had better not go out before Greg, that's all I'm saying.

Things of note: > In the opening medley, I almost expected Greg and Steve to remain at the side of the rink for their bit. > Audiences clapping along to music is annoying at the best of times, but in a medley, where the tempo keeps changing, it’s just hell. > Jason, not loving the pink/green combo. > I liked Gareth & Maria’s “swimming plank”. And Maria’s magenta boots. > Ooh! Zaraah & Fred dressed for ‘No Good Advice’! > Oh, I love Zaraah - she’s very self-deprecating, but her routine was fantastic. > Ok, Chris may be loving the eye make-up a little too much. > It’s another “let’s see how many times Chris falls over during the week before giving another scoreboard-topping performance” clip. This is in danger of becoming predictable. > The Worm. That never impresses me. > “Steven Mulhern, nice to see you too, by the way.” Bless Philip. > Steve-O! Steve-O! Again, shut up. > At least on ‘Strictly’, the celebs stop mouthing the words to the songs after a few weeks. > In spite of the performance, Steve’s arms are just lovely. > Suzanne’s was easily my favourite from the evening. So much content, and a beautiful performance. > Ha! Karen’s look to camera when Nicky tried to explain scoring a 4 was brilliant. > Bless him for trying, but Greg’s really not very interesting, and his “unique” element was completely forgettable. > Linda was a woman scorned this week. I did like all their lifts, though, so a big improvement from last week. > Hmm, let’s see if we can guess the order of the scoreboard. Chris, then Suzanne, Gareth & Zaraah, Linda in the middle, and the substandard Steve and Greg at the bottom. Is anyone else going to top the scoreboard…ever? > Damn you voting public for doing that to Zaraah. Just as she feels comfortable in the competition, you go and put her in the skate-off. > Let’s get serious. Greg can go no further. It’s him or Lusardi next week. Anyone else is wrong. Got that, viewers?

Nicky Slater may miss tonight's show as his wife is in the middle of dropping a sprog. News on whether or not someone else will take on the task of judging relatively is not yet forthcoming.

I've just realised that Nicky looks like Ben from Lost.
I only caught the end, but Suzanne was amazing. Why did The Illegal get such a low score?

Because at the start of the routine she was really nervous and kept stumbling over bits. The second half was great but she ruined her chances through nerves, as did a lot of people tonight.

Well that means I officially don't give a fuck anymore.
But Suzanne Shaw for the win please. Fountain just seems to smug with the whole thing, with his adding bits in to make him look better. He would do it by himself if he could.

Yep, I declared myself officially Team Suzanne last night (on the assumption that Team Zaraah is not long for this world). Chris is starting to get on my tits with his smug pieces to camera about how there's so much pressure on him to exceed his own awesomeness all the time. I still have my suspicions that Ruthie changed her vote on purpose just to shut him up. I'm glad they saved Zaraah again, though she can't hold out much longer, surely? Unless she develops some kind of Stefan Booth-esque late surge of public support. I'm still not entirely sure why Greg's so popular with the viewers. He's not really rubbbish enough to get the save-the-woobie vote, not young enough to get the tween vote - he seems to fall between a lot of stools. But he obviously has a lot of fans somewhere, so more power to him, I suppose. It's a shame the outcome of tennis matches aren't decided by a televote - he might've won Wimbledon that way.

Things of note: > I managed to miss Torville & Dean's performance this week. Oh well. > As with Tim in "spin" week, Zaraah just couldn't master the jump, and that affected the confidence of her whole performance. > I hate the phrase "quantity over quality". No, Greg, do one jump and do it well. I'm surprised Nicky didn't mark him down for spending less time on the ice. > Well, Ruthie tried her best to divert Holly's attention away from Jason after Greg's routine. Maybe she'll succeed next week. > Gareth's excuse that he can't jump on the ice because he's a musician was hilarious. > Ooh! This week, Gareth's dressed for No Good Advice! > His routine was rather dull, wasn't it? Probably the least memorable of the night in fact. > Linda's hair/outfit: do not like. > What a messy move, Linda. Not graceful in the slightest. I assume it went better in rehearsal. > In the training footage, it looked like Chris Fountain had a black eye, but I think it was leftover make-up from last Sunday. > Oh, stop showing off Chris. The routine has impressive moments, but you're not as entertaining or enjoyable to watch as others. > However, I did enjoy Frankie punching the air when Chris didn't fall over. > I was so happy for Suzanne to finally top the scoreboard. By far, the most complete choreographed performance of the night, and hurrah for Ruthie's score change. > And, I think you'll find Suzanne was DANCING on ICE. > Zaraah and Fred were funny behind the scenes. Zaraah: "I hope we're in the skate-off, so I can do that performance better second time." Fred, quietly: "I don't want to be in the skate-off." > Oh God. Greg's through again. Enough. > Do the audience not know anything? Philip always goes to a break when there's only 3 couples left, so why boo him? > Thank goodness Zaraah's second performance was much healthier. The jump was still minuscule, but she proved that she deserved to stay. > Does that mean Daniel will now move out of Linda's house? > Greg had better do a tennis-themed routine next week, with a racket as his prop, or I will not be happy.

That's really bad news regarding Shaw.
Maybe in her VT sad piano music can play until the camera zooms out to reveal new mother Mylene Klass playing a Yamaha whilst displaying that Futurama-looking grin she does.

I wish I saw the appeal of Gareth Gates. He's rubbish, and yet the judges always give him high scores. And he never stops bloody whinging.
