Does this sound like Aisleyne deja vu? I do think Shilpa stands a good chance against Jade if we pull together and organise another campaign. Jade's face if her and Shilpa are either in the final or up against each other in a public vote and she goes would make Nikki's expression when she was voted out before Aisleyne look restrained. But it looks like Jade has got all the young ones onside and they're going to pick off Dirk and Shilpa next week. Jade doesn't like the fact Dirk isn't sucking up to her either. |

I have no idea what last night's argument between Jade, Danielle & Shilpa was about, but then neither did they. Danielle just seemed to be having a go at Shilpa for no reason.
This is getting really tiresome. I hope Shilpa stays til the end, and Davina isn't horrible to her in the interview just for the sake of it. You just know Davina will give Jade an easy ride when she leaves. I still can't see what Shilpa has done to make people boo her - she's one of the most logical and reasonable people in there.

I stopped watching this a while ago, partly because I didn't like the way lovely Shilpa was being treated by Jackie/the crowds, but also because I didn't want to end up hating Jade, who I love on her Living TV shows and therefore don't wish to hinder any future enjoyment.
Also, I find Big Brother really fucking tedious when it's on for an hour every night at 9. Bring back the half hour 10pm show of old.

If reports are true Shilpa was paid a lot of money to do this because an Indian star was what the sponsors wanted to corner the big asian market. The Jade factor has already appeared to have been a bit of a flop, if Shilpa's appearance turns out to be a negative experience upsetting the very people who they've used Shilpa to grab then I fear heads may roll at Big Brother HQ. |

Aside from the perfume selling more than Beckham's, and the tv shows on Living, is there any proof that Jade is popular?
She came fourth out of four in the final of Big Brother, she didn't win Back To Reality despite it being set up for her to win, and while her image does apparently sell a lot of magazines, I don't know anyone who actually likes her.
The people I know who buy Heat or OK or Now do so to look at her and feel better about themselves. No one aspires to be like her, they just look down at her car crash of a life.

Why are the other (female it seems) house mates being so vile to Shilpa, what exactly did she do to deserve such loathing and nastiness from them??
I've not bothered watching this since the Goody family went in as I can't stand any of them and thought it was a wretched and desperate move on the producers part, but I'm watching the 'highlights' show tonight.
The footballers wife woman Danielle(?) seems particularly nasty and vindictive. And what exactly is her claim to being a 'celebrity' aside from a fact she's shagged an over paid footballer, has she any other claim to fame? I don't recognise her or know who she is. Was she a famous model or (more likely) a page 3 girl?
Leo's break out and subsequent performance in the car park was quite amusing, he obviously had no idea whatsoever what the show was about and what he'd got himself involved in. But that aside, they're all so dull and drab this year, its such tedious viewing. Psychological assements aside I really think they need to throw someone potentially interesting like Lauren Harries or Su Pollard in there to liven it up.

the high-ups seem to have acknowledged the mood has changed (though whether they do anything about it is another thing). on bblb, most of the show was about it, with narinder and craig (bb1 not 6!) coming on and acquitting themselves very well (and calling endemol/c4 on their bullshit. both have gone way up in my estimation), and dermot implying that although he has to sort of toe the party line, he was clearly of the same opinion as everyone else.
best of all, they showed jade bitching at shilpa about nothing much, and shilpa showing jade how a true diva does it by replying 'your fame is based on this (bb). well, good for you'. at which the bblb studio erupted in cheers.
I wonder if the mastermind(s) behind the goody gang's arrival have received their p45s yet...

What do we think the chances are that the producers have by now had the 3 protagonists in the diary room, either individually or together and told them that the outside world now thinks they're nasty little bitches and that if they intend having careers once they're out of the house they should quickly change they're vile ways?
I'd love to see Shilpa totally rise above all this and be the personification of sweetness and charm to them. She should kill them with kindness, they really wouldn't be able to cope with that.

Is television supposed to make you feel this angry? I feel breathless with rage and indignation. Danielle picking a towel up off the floor and handing it to Shilpa. Jade savouring Shilpa's embarassment over that toilet and Jack telling Shilpa to empty it with her teeth.
I think we're witnessing the end of The Cult Of Personality and the likes of Jade. Who will buy her perfume now?

And let's enjoy that moment once again: I feel sick whenever I hear any of those twats talking about Shilpa. Surely Jack's comment about fishing it out with her teeth is the vilest, most hateful and sexually demeaning thing anyone has ever uttered in that house? And then after Shilpa retorted something fabulously dismissive back ("I've got better things I'd like to do with my teeth"), Jo asked in all seriousness "Was she just being bitchy?" (or something to that effect.) The whole exchange almost made me shake. I want Shilpa to walk so badly. I feel very protective towards her, and I don't want her to be exposed to that sort of behaviour any longer. I think Jo is actually the worst now. She's like a playground bully who never grew up; it's like she's taken a while to make sure she's suitably backed-up, and is now going for Shilpa full throttle. I honestly don't know how Shilpa has remained so dignified. |
