"You might think that, I couldn't possibly comment".
Vernon's still a tosser though.

Hopefully good old Jim will get out of "The Big House" soon and show "Yer Man, Vernon" a thing or two.

Jim is back around Christmas. Bet he kills Vernon and gets another 8-stretch.

I just read on the grauniad that Violet said "pure and simple" to Kym Ryder the other day. Is that true? What could I have been doing that was more important than seeing that?

That would be amazing. Especially if Kim replied "a yeah yeah".

Wiki's Human League story was AMAZING. I was just about to say the same thing. Not only that, she then chose one of the best Human League songs, like, evah, to play.

I loved it last week when Sarah said her wedding dress was from Debenhams. It made a refreshing change from "the high street" or something similar, and seemed far more realistic.

Ashley has just said that for Christmas Josh wants 'one of them scary heads that talks'. After questioning from Claire he said it's a Cyberman helmet. THAT'S A VOICE CHANGING MASK YOU FUCKING WANKER. God, I hate Ashley. And I hate people being vague about Who.
His poor son has both a wet cabbage of a dad and tastes that are a year behind his peers.

Re: Debenhams. One of Corrie's strengths is how well anchored (relatively) it is in the real world.
I remember a rather surreal subplot where Maxine made us of Mark&Spencer's always giving you your money back guarantee to get a free dress for a party. Audrey judged her, and then she spilt red wine on it.

SO much to consider this evening, but the winner really must be Mrs. Overall! Fantastic!
