I think that the Davina interview will completely skate over all the bad behaviour as Jade has become the poster girl for big brother. They did want her to do well in this as she is one of those people that people think ' i can do that if she can do that' and it makes them want to go on big brother.
I would find it hilarious if one of these people who are hot on law used her eviction as a chance to slap her with some sort of lawsuit. No idea what.
I also feel that Shilpa has a really good PR company working for her in the UK, she's got a website and everything(which was created just when she went into big brother) not that with what's happened she really needs it.

I've just checked my email and had an exclusive from Holy Moly late last night revealing who was going into the house, but it seems to have expired. Can anyone share?

That's weird, I looked at mine 5 minutes ago and the link worked. It's that Australian paparazzi bloke, Darryn Lyons.

Who I recently had a dream about. He met me outside Balham tube station to give me a kitten. Now, I like him.
Have just looked on the big bro website - the nominations page has a William Hill ticky ticker with everybody's odds (I assume to win?) ... except Jade's ... conspiracy theory ahoy.
Or have I just missed something?

And the sad thing is, seeing as Jade appears to have such a good agent, they almost certainly have a full rehabilition strategy lined up, including some kind of half-apology half self-justification piece in Heat followed by a Living TV series on Jade visiting India. At the very least I hope she gets the biggest boos in history - that'll give her a shock when she arrives at the top of the stairs waiting to see her adoring public!

According to Broadcast, the whole thing is, somewhat predictably, being seen as a huge victory for C4. I'll post a few relevant sections in the hope I'm not infringing copyright:
You keep telling yourself that, bottom-feeder. Sheesh.
I understand that Channel 4 needs to get its funding from somewhere, but surely I can't be alone in finding this kind of celebration a bit sick?

The first time I saw him was when he cropped up on about 30 different talking head count down shows in the space of about a week, a few months back. "Who's this utter cunt?" I thought, "I hope I never have to see him again". He has roadkill for hair. Richard fucking Blackwood'll be in next.

Media agency OMD UK head of TV Neil Johnston said: "If it does higher ratings and provides better communications we will be trying to buy more spots for those (female skewed) advertisers it's appropriate for I understand that Channel 4 needs to get its funding from somewhere, but surely I can't be alone in finding this kind of celebration a bit sick? I work for a media agency and this surprises me not one bit. All most agencies and clients are interested in is accessing as many people as possible. Any ethical questions are completely sidelined. It would be nice to see at least one advertiser stand up and pull out of the show though. Not that it would make any difference to C4 though, mind you - when buying campaigns cash is committed to the channel, not the show. So if they pulled out of BB, the money would just get spent elsewhere on the channel. The only ones C4 have to worry about is Carphone Warehouse, and it sounds like C4 have managed to fob them off already.

Danielle's diary room 'retraction' of "She should fuck off home" was completely staged. She had clearly been briefed and I didn't believe any of her regrets at all. She didn't even seem to understand what was so offensive about that comment though – her first response was "I didn't mean I WANT her to go home". I suspect that C4 have sensed that Jade is the most hated and are giving the others a chance to redeem themselves slightly. It's a cliche that as soon as you refer to a certain dictator you're losing your point and killing any discussion, but watching Jade work herself up into apoplectic rage to the point she was shaking, well, whatever. Heh, well she has the hairdo I suppose, and may be poised to start a war. I must say, watching that build-up, I just thought that she really isn't (what my granny would have called) quite the full shilling, in a very serious way. Although I also suspect she was doing it because she has been rewarded in life for shouting and showing her ignorance and this is the natural conclusion. I am also so disappointed in Russell Brand, although I'm sure he's hugely constrained by C4. There was such a weird atmosphere on Big Mouth last night. Melinda Messenger was the only one making sensible and measured comments – that out of order behaviour has to be confronted – but she was pretty much ignored. Much as I don't want endemol getting my money, I suspect I will have carpal tunnel syndrome from texting by Friday. On a slightly weirder note, I had a sex dream about H last night. What the fuck is THAT about?! I feel all dirty now.

You KNOW the world is a fucked-up place when Melinda Messenger has become the voice of reason. I was impressed with Melinda Messenger. Never really heard her speaking before but she was bang on the nail and what's more managed to get a few good points across in the midst of a programme designed to be mad shouty chaos. Brand and O'Leary's refusal to condemn Jade and the coven is quite hard to watch, I presume they are absolutely not allowed to do so by their contracts - both highly intelligent seeming chaps, they can't really be watching and thinking 'Hmmm it's not a clearcut situation', can they??!

Very odd as well, seeing as Russell Brand got into a high profile row with the BBC last year over his 6Music show where he alleged a wheelchair-bound friend had been discriminated against. The BBC insisted he cut the allegations from his podcast so he stood firm and refused to make any more for them for the website.
So has moving to Radio 2 lost him his spine along with his 'edge'? You'd hope not.

I'm actually TORN. Do I watch American Idol on Friday night, or do I watch Jade get thrown to the lions?! Obviously tape American Idol. How can anyone not tape Idol, X Factor etc? There's ten tons of crap you can avoid by fastforwarding. As for the rest of it, Channel 4 are so out of order. And with Jade getting away with so much, maybe she really IS the 25th most inflerenshul person in the world.

Regarding Dermot and Russell: as far as I could see Dermot was waaaay more uncomfortable on his show. He even looks done in, like the strain of it all is causing him sleepless nights. He was quite squirmy and really crap. Russell I thought handled it all with much more aplomb, and it was fair enough, in my opinion, to state that there was a danger of becoming a bit mob minded in our condemnation. I have often thought though that he stole Dermot's crown, he is more eloquent and spontaneous, and sexier! If it is true that Davina, Dermot, Russell and Jade all share the same agent, and as all effectively work for Big Brother, then it is silly of us, sadly, to even hope there would be any impartiality about it.
Danielle in the diary rom was very odd. It cut quickly from her initial gasp to a sudden speech about being kinder and more tolerant that Danielle would never have come up with alone. So why have they done that? Are they saving her and sacrificing Jade? Sinister media manipulation ahoy.

I totally agree, Dermot looked so uncomfortable and he had to keep sticking up for Jade.
Russell still stayed neutral, but not in favor of Jade.
Has Jackiey made any statements? Last night was the first time i got the phone to call to vote at the end, but it wasn't up yet.

Danielle did sort of make an effort with Shilpa in the bathroom as well. I think Danielle is the least bad of the 3; although it was her that started it all off with Shilpa. I really don't like Jo anymore. Danielle is a stupid bitchy girl; Jade is a stupid bitchy girl, but Jo is older and more intelligent and that makes me find her behaviour more unacceptable0
Rachel Stevens would have been friends with Shilpa.

Apparently the carphone warehouse has now suspended its' sponsorship of the show with immediate effect. This'll make C4 sit up, just when they thought they were getting loads of ratings.

Plus, as a Jew, Rachel Stevens might be a teensier bit more sensitive about the issues of culture clash leading to persecution of minoroties.

I was quite sceptical of Carphone Warehouse's move but as their statement says they've requested all branding to be removed with immediate effect it seems like a more genuine move than saying they've suspended sponsership whilst still having their name plastered all over the place.

If Endemol have a problem now I think it's that people don't trust them to act fairly or honourably anymore. BB has always been exploitative, but in the early days if they manipulated something it seemed to be solely ratings motivated. However as the show has become more complicated and they've begun more and more to push it's 'evil' content as the main selling point, pulling stunts, manipulating the contestants etc., it has become obvious that they're thinking up a story they want to see and then ensuring that it happens. This year Jade is that story. The reason then that people are so upset with the treating of Shilpa, because Endemol are allowing her (at least partly racially motivated) abuse because to take the appropriate action would deviate from the script. If they kicked her out they'd have nothing to base the show around, so they do nothing and thereby mistreat another HM.
It isn't the racism that galls, but the cynicism.

Completely agree Cherubic. It wouldn't be impossible for Endemol to do something really positive - ie kick Jade or the lot of them out, but what's in that for them? Ofcom have already said they won't have a report produced for a couple of weeks, and then Endemol / Channel 4 with have a few weeks to respond to it anyway.
Also, was having a bit of a nosey at the newspapers in the newsagents earlier and I'd like to nominate The Sun for best headline: "Celeb BB: World in Crisis" followed by something along the lines of "Jade at war with India". Nothing like the tabloids to fuel the fire is there?

I read somewhere today (I think it may have been the Metro but I'm not sure) that they were going to send Mark Bosnich in! I'm really hoping this is just a rumour.
Mark Bosnich, for those who don't know, used to play for Chelsea before they got rich and good. He has a reputation as a massive racist having been sold to Chelsea by Man U because Alex Ferguson didn't like his 'right wing policies'. He made matters worse when playing a game at Tottenham (who have a big Jewish fanbase) by doing a Nazi salute.
He also used to go out with Sophie Anderton who claimed that he was a massive coke fiend who used to beat her up.
