Jo's been saying she feels like she was a guinea pig in a fish bowl... clearly an animal rights activist too then. That's just brilliant.

As much as I think the bullies should learn from this experience, apologise, move on... Jo's GMTV interview was awful to watch. I want to see them acknowledge all that was wrong in their behaviour, I want them to apologise and mean it, I want there to be some consequences. I don't want to see a distressed, crying woman on tv, clearly broken by the experience, abandoned by the programme that put her there, trying to blame it all on editing.
When the world leaves you feeling blue You can count on me, I will be there for you When it seems all your hopes and dreams Are a million miles away, I will reassure you
Shilpa has asked why nobody stepped in when they knew this was going on. The fact remains that the whole situation could have been stopped much earlier by BB/Channel 4, but they did nothing.

That interview was just nasty. I need to shower now.
Fiona Phillips gleefully drinking in Jo's pain didn't help either.

"Everything's been taken completely out of context" No it hasn't. "I was laughing at the fact that we were arguing over the Oxo cube." No you weren't. And that doesn't address the "that made my day" line. "If Shilpa came in I'd give her a big hug, I didn't have anything against Shilpa at all." Whilst you say the Sunday papers misquoted you that's not what you said to Davina in your live interview either. "Things that I've said about her haven't been fairly quoted" Yes they have. They haven't been "quoted" they've been shown in both a highlights show and live coverage. "I was showered, hair washed & dressed by 10, 11 every single morning." No you weren't. And you were always smoking & swearing. The problem with blaming "editing" is that the Internet has grown yearly and its become incredibly easy to show live coverage on places like youtube (where brilliantly the first two videos advertised afterwards are Jade crying in her NOTW interview accompanied by her saying to Jo that it doesn't matter what they said about you, you can justify anything.) As fanatic as they can be on Digital Spy the furore there came from the live coverage and the highlights show is used to complain about bits they missed out. My main problem is that she insists that she was misquoted in the Sunday Mirror in saying she'd not say sorry, yet despite their reasons being mainly aimed towards career-saving of the three she's the one who hasn't actually done so. However Jo's main problem is that she hasn't got a career to speak of so hasn't got all the agents etc that Jade & Danielle have trying to fight in their corner to save their money-spinner. She really has been left all alone to deal with the consequences of her actions and that's the only bit I have sympathy with her for.

i don't really have much sympathy for jo being 'left all alone', seeing as those behind CBB left Shilpa in exactly the same position while she was in the house, being tormented by those harpies. and it's not like the producers can claim they remained impartial- Jade was obviously informed, so they did interfere. it's a testament to Shilpa's character that she has completely turned it around, emerging strong & utterly fabulous

Well yes, her agent died on Sunday. www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,11049-2007040626,00.html

If Jo's had death threats made against her then I do feel sorry for her, I don't think her behavior deserves that. However, I do think she deserves most of the heavy criticism she's received for her part in all this. As for the TVAM interview, I'm not convinced. I think it was an (admittedly very good) performance designed and intended to try and salvage whatever's left of her career, same as Jade has done with every interview she's conducted since she came out. Jo goes on national TV looking and acting like a complete blubbering emotional wreck one day and yet she's booked to appear a few days later at G-A-Y. If she's really so bad at present would/should she be making lucrative personal appearances?

I didn't watch a whole lot of it, so I won't stand up and fight my corner on this or anyhting, but it seemed she was almost worst than Jade, she seemed to be the one who kind of plants the idea in someone's head then sits back and watches the fireworks. I feel a bit sorry for her in that she thinks she may have been responsible for her agent's death, but ultimately she reminds me of those bullies at school, the ones that, if no one else had seen, you wouldn't be able to explain exactly why they were being a bully, if that makes any sense.

I'm sure that the G-A-Y appearance was booked weeks in advance of her going into Big Brother and not at the last minute. It may not go ahead now, anyway. A

I can empathise to a certain degree with Jo, Danielle and Jade. They ganged up against Shilpa in a very familar way and I'm sure many men and women across the country have bitched about a rival in private.
Of course these girls made their comments in private in public and Jade took things futher than tolerable with her self righteous temper. I would imagine that if any of them were truely sorry for offending so many people outside the house then they would step out of the public eye.
I feel that there is only one person they have to apologise too and that isn't me or any veiwer of GMTV or reader of News of the World, just Shilpa.

Looks like Jo has sold her 'My Suicide Hell' twice this week - it's in Heat and one of the redtops tomorrow.
