And the whole notion that Britain has somehow "proved" itself by evicting Jade Goody is slightly dampened by the fact that she was evicted with 82% of the vote, meaning 1 in 5 people were on her side.

Predictions for next week: > Jade to appear on front of Heat magazine with the headline "I'm not a racist" > Jade to offer no defence for all the bullying that took place, apart from repeating "I'm not a racist, I didn't say anything in a racial way" > Heat readers to forgive Jade 'cos she's not a racist, it wasn't her fault she said the wrong thing, she just speaks her mind, etc
Depressing.

> Jade's perfume to quietly be put back on the shelves again since they were only taking it off until she left. > Jack to dump Jade before the year is out and sell his story as to "what really happened in the BB house.

And the whole notion that Britain has somehow "proved" itself by evicting Jade Goody is slightly dampened by the fact that she was evicted with 82% of the vote, meaning 1 in 5 people were on her side. Well I picked up the phone, voted and managed to actually dial Shilpa's number instead. Picture my horror. Perhaps it's the confusion caused by sometimes voting for people to stay, sometimes for them to go, sometimes for them to win etc... or maybe I'm just stupid. So I'd like to think that a bit of that 18% was down to mistakes. Then again I suppose some of the 82% could be. Oh and of course when I ballsed it up I then hit redial on the Get Jade Out number five times in a row.

I just saw a repeat of her thing about Eskimos. She said something along the lines of 'do Eskimos communicate like dolphins' and then mimiced dolphin calls.

So I'd like to think that a bit of that 18% was down to mistakes. Then again I suppose some of the 82% could be. You'd imagine so, given that current Jade fans are probably very stupid indeed. We must remember that this isn't a fifth of the nation that's supported Jade, it's a fifth of the BB-viewing population, which isn't totally representative of the nation as a whole (one would hope).

Moving on from the whole bullying/racism issue, today's orchestra task was pretty pathetic. In my opinion, they're really running out of ideas, and if they want to keep life in the series (regular BB too), they need some imaginative tasks.

I'm sure there was no link between her sudden cutsey thickness and the fact she's just been on the losing side of a public vote in the band tribute task. Oh, that Jade, she's so silly and naive and stupid and thick and endearing. Lets all love her again.

And the rehabilitation starts. The first line of the article is: Jade will get no payment for this article. Her £50,000 fee will go to charity—along with every penny of her £50,000 Big Brother fee. The £100,000 total will be divided between good causes nominated by Shilpa and Jade. And all the way through the article big banners Although I was sure she got a lot more than £50,000 to be in Big Brother. Having watched some of the videos that she's filmed for the news of the world website and she talks about how she is donating all money to charity like her fee etc. She's like 'all money that i earn' then quickly adds IN regards to big brother, I will donate to charity.

What a disappointment Cleo has been. I can't believe she can sit there and make excuses for the horrible bullying she's calmly watched - when the helicopter went over, she said 'it's because of some things that were said by mistake'. Pfff.
Being nice isn't the be all and end all of being a good human being.

hehe and the Razzie goes to... this is hilarious! she's awful at fake crying. She's good though at the pr pushing of not blaming anyone else etc.. well rehearsed. The whole "I'm not thinking of my career, I'm only worried about my kids being bullied for what I have done" was a nice touch too. She's been very well drilled. However, it was all undermined by Dermot, when he asked her (on behalf of a viewer) whether she thought Jack could have a pop career. She said no, and Dermot said "well, at least you're being honest about something."

From the BBC website - Channel 4 has denied warning Jade Goody about the racism storm surrounding Big Brother and coaching her before she left the show to minimise the damage. There is speculation that she was briefed about the anger she caused in rows with Indian actress Shilpa Shetty.
But a spokeswoman said Goody "was not coached by [production company] Endemol or Channel 4" before her eviction.
The broadcaster's board will discuss the show on Monday amid criticism of the way it handled the furore.
HAVE YOUR SAY She has brought this all on herself - I hope she takes some time out to think about her actions
Brenda, Essex
Send us your comments Goody was accused of leading alleged racist bullying against Shetty.
About 40,000 people complained to media regulator Ofcom, while politicians in the UK and India were also drawn into the debate.
Goody has denied being racist but told the News of the World newspaper she did make racist comments and she was "shocked and disgusted" by her own behaviour.
Before being evicted on Friday, Goody and other housemates were questioned in the diary room by Big Brother about the disputes and whether they were racially motivated.
But there have been claims that Goody was also told about the public reaction and how to respond to it.
Shetty's treatment sparked protests in India last week
Goody made up with Shetty before leaving and the usual crowd was not present when Goody emerged because of security fears.
According to press reports, Goody said before she left: "I know why there's no noise." When Shilpa asked why, Jade replied: "I know but I can't tell you."
The Channel 4 spokeswoman denied that Goody had been tipped off.
"Jade's diary room conversations that were broadcast represent the conversations between Big Brother and Jade," she said.

Without wanting to sound like Mulder, has Channel 4 yet explained the sudden sound/picture jump after Jade's "highlights"? It looked like a very strange technical hitch for a live - or even "as live" - broadcast...

I missed Jade on BBLB, but saw her on GMTV and This Morning, this morning.
I am getting increasingly infuriated at the way she is repeating word-for-word every reply or comeback on both shows. I think it is a mix of being told what to say, practising in her head over and over, and being too stupid to vary her vocabulary slightly.
She has used the words "justify" and "sincerely" a hundred times.
She still refuses to give any reason for hating Shilpa.
She is rambling and woffling the whole time, without any specific defensive arguments or explanations at all. She's like a politician.

I don't think Jade is intelligent or reasoned enough to know why she hated Shilpa, just that she did. I don't think she was consciously 'hating' someone, but that's how her behaviour and frustration expresses it. This isn't to condone her behaviour, because self-awareness is a vital part of being a rational person. I've only watched her on the eviction show and moments of her on BBLB, before I had to turn it off as her consistent almost rant-like justification of herself was giving me a headache. It's like listening to Vicki Pollard. My boyfriend said he was waiting for her to use 'her fanny goes sideways' as an excuse. This is an interesting, if a little gloating, take on things, written by an Irish newspaper. www.unison.ie/irish_independent/stories.php3?ca=9&si=1760064&issue_id=15151Apols. You'll need to register. I think that Irish Times article is spot on, especially the reasons for Jade's hatred of Shilpa. Shilpa herself said as much about Jade. "She just projected all her insecurities onto me".
Shilpa looked very frustrated during the whole "Endemol damage limitation engineering of her and Jade making up" thing. She seemed to know that Jade is an idiot rather than anything else, an idiot who's behaviour had landed herself and others in serious trouble. But despite how terribly Jade treated her, she decided to accept her rather pathetic apology (which was more of a begging for forgiveness really) as it would be the best way to stop the whole thing getting worse. Shilpa's face seemed to say "It's so hard being the strong one".

Danielle made me laugh the most with her "My mother tells me I'm pretty every day - she says I look like Cilla Black" line.
I really am bored with it now though.

I don't understand what happened there. Four of them made BB laugh (Ian, Jo, Jermaine and Shilpa), the other four didn't. But they said 5 made BB laugh, so they passed. Confusing.

Shilpa was great tonight! I loved her playing Aunt Jamela with the banana. She was the only funny one in that.
