I don't understand what happened there. Four of them made BB laugh (Ian, Jo, Jermaine and Shilpa), the other four didn't. But they said 5 made BB laugh, so they passed. Confusing. Dirk did, didn't he?

Ian, Jo, Jermaine, Shilpa made BB laugh. Dirk, Danielle, Jack and Cleo failed.
...no, it makes no sense.

Did Cleo do a rubbish character for it?

Yes, I spent the rest of the programme trying to work out where my counting had gone wrong. And Cleo's character really was rubbish, she needs to realise that there's a reason she hasn't been on telly for 25 years.

I did feel really sorry for Cleo when they played back her 'routine'. It was cringeworthy and the least funny thing ever. Ew, I was disturbed by Jack's cock! Did he have a semi?

Irish Independent article. I noticed today that there are screaming headlines about comments made on Shipwrecked (which are pretty fucking stupid and racist) but the whole thing has really started to get on my tits. It's like nobody can express an opinion that's mildly unpolitically correct. Of course, these opinions are awful, despicable and the people who have them are stupid and ill-informed. But isn't that the point? Some stupid 17-year-old girl who clealry has no sense says something fucking stupid. Some really thick girl from London says something on TV and the whole fucking nation goes crazy about it. Why should we be giving them the time of day? Why should we pay attention? Isn't it about time things were got in perspective? I see Keith Vaz has tabled another motion in parliament because of Shipwrecked, following his motion about Big Brother last week. Could he not do some serious political work? We just seem to be pawns in a big media game. We watch TV, react to it on the internet, read about it in our newspapers and add fuel and more fuel to a fire which does nothing but upset and distress us whilst bolstering the opinions of some really fucking stupid people. Why? [/rant] A

It was so cringeworthy that Cleo had spent 3 hours getting into character and was so awful whilst Shilpa threw on a wig and ate an banana and out classed her in every way.
At one point during the playback to the housemates, I thought Jack had his knob hanging out the side of the pouch. Thankfully it was only a shadow. Well seen Jade has been trimming his bush. Glad to know all that beauty training hasn't gone to waste.

Jacks trunk made me feel very sick. Cleo was pathetic. Jeramine was the only one who made me laugh a little when he stopped shaking the maraca's, said "Break", grinned, and then said "shake" and started up again. Sweet.

I had forgotten how brain-crushingly boring this CBB was when there is not an international incident involved.

Who made me & my mum laugh: Ian - singing Rick Astley with false teeth Jermaine - shakers Cleo - "he shot me in the head!" Shilpa - disguised as her aunt
I think I'd be quite pleased if any of those 4 won.

What the...?
4.05pm: Endemol has cancelled the votes cast so far in this week's Celebrity Big Brother eviction after an on-screen blunder meant viewers were voting to evict Shilpa when they thought they were saving her. More follows...

What did they say 'To save' instead of 'To evict'?

Apparently the text said you were voting 'to save' Shilpa, but the voiceover correctly said it was 'to evict' her.

I understand they've cancelled all the votes so far and reopened the voting after last night's show. I look forward to a statement from Channel 4 saying that they were completely correct in writing the wrong thing on the screen, that they are all above reproach, and no one will be made to sit in the naughty corner as a result.

I voted for Leo twice and then he walked. I voted for Jo and Cleo before the vote got cancelled. I want a refund!

They are offering to refund people who've already voted, I think. I have no idea how you claim, mind.

There was another phone number to claim refunds, which appeared at the start of last night's main show. It's probably on the website somewhere. Any refunds that are not claimed will be donated to charity.
I wish Danielle's ice cube hadn't had anything inside. Jo can be evicted for being miserable. Dirk can be evicted for being grumpy and spouting nonsense about passive smoking being comparable with smelling cooked meat.
EDIT: Yes, just checked - the refund line is 0800 0287 123 and you have until 1st Feb to claim.

Naturally, as she was up, Jo had to go. But tonights eviction was a (predictable) cop out on the producers part, sending her out with Cleo so as to try and minimise the anomosity and boos. which sort of worked I suppose. My opinoin of Jo O'Meara has changed so totally and utterly through this, I had such high hopes for her (potentially winning it!) at the beginning and thought I really liked her, not any more though.
I doubt it'll happen and I'm sure they'll concoct something to protect her, also but I now only hope that and wish that Danielle is sent out solo and suffers the consequences of her nasty and vile behaviour. Hopefully she'll then have to be the one to "fuck off home" next.

What a difference in the interviews between Jade and Jo.
With the "that's the real me" comment at the end of the interview, that's Jo well and truly fucked over.

I laugh when I'm nervous. Fair enough. Was she still nervous when she said 'That brightened up my day'? Was she being nervous when she sat there again and again and joined in the vicious bullying behaviour?
I know Jo hasn't got an agent and therefore missed out on a briefing of how to spin the situation, but god the amount of crummy excuses and the admission that she did show 'the real Jo' in there... oh dear.
Cleo's utter inability to notice incredibly unpleasant behaviour right under her nose summed her right up too - extravagantly pathetic.

I think Jo wished that she'd done a bit more back-pedalling when everyone else(jade, danielle) was trying to save themselves by becoming chummy to Shilpa. Jo realised the enormity of what people felt against her when all at once(as if staged?) when davina talked to them she could hear chanting of 'get jo out'. Dannielle heard it as well while Ian was like 'No I didn't hear anything.' I'm guessing that Dannielle will realise a bit of what has happened and try and be even even nicer to Shilpa for the next two days.
I hope Jermaine wins for my money(i got the worst odds when i put 50p on him at 18-1) but if Shilpa wins I'll be happy(14-1 50p)

We had a debate in our house as to what JAck said. I thought he said if it had been that bad 'they'd have warned us like JAde' or 'there had been no audience like Jade'?
