Seeing/Hearing Jack sing was a personal highlight. Screech-e There is a touch of evil about him. He had an unfathomable look in his eyes as he tried to sing. Although I hesitate to call it singing. Perhaps he was actually summoning a demonic spirit. In less terrifying developments, Shilpa looked fucking fantastic tonight. |

From all the ridiculous hours of live feeding I've been doing, this is what I've gathered so far of te housemates:
Shilpa - not as controlling as is made out to be. Very Indian culturally, but holding back. Comes across as older than she is. Nice woman, but struggling with the 'ladette' types in here.
Danielle - fakes being sweet as pie, but is actually a little bitch. ALWAYS slagging someone off.
Ian - coming across really well. Friendly, upbeat, silly, amusing, supportive of everyone - Ian doesn't take sides.
Dirk - quite typical older man. He can be really silly and fun, but on the whole takes a step back - apart from with the booze! Not easily riled, but will lose his temper if pushed too far.
Jermaine - sweet, religious, nice guy, but contrary to belief, does bitch with Shilpa quite a lot about the others.
Jade - more intelligent than last time on BB, less annoying, but has far too much of a sense of herself and knows how well known she is.
Jo - could potentially be fun and nice, but has allied herself with Jade and Danielle, and they've become a horrible little bitchy trio. It's doing Jo no favours - when she's around Ian and Cleo she's a much nicer person, and much more likeable.
Cleo - beautiful, really beautiful at all times of the day and night! A little bitchy, like most women, but on the whole coping pretty well. Doing much better now Leo has left - it seems to have relaxed her a lot.
Jack - quiet, inquisitive, shy, loyal to Jade. Not a great choice for a BB housemate but does keep some situations calmed.
I found Leo really, hugely immensely annoying (so much that I frequently had to mute the feed when he was talking - it was always over someone else), Ken...just unbelievably random, and wasn't working when Donny was in the house, so that's that.

Tonight's edition has to be the most unpleasant, terrifying and hurtful television I've ever seen on Big Brother and I've seen Richard reduced to tears by Sezer, Makosi being jeered and Aisleyne being terrorised by a mob.
Jade...I just don't get why I hate her now. I thought she was funny before, but this is awful. Why doesn't anyone stand up to her? Why doesn't Davina say something? Shilpa has more class and dignity than any other housemate there. I am voting for her to win.
H went up in my estimations too.

Why doesn't Davina say something? Probably for two reasons. 1. Endemol like Jade. Therefore Davina will like Jade. 2. Davina & Jade share the same PR agent. As does Dermott and Russell. And Cleo apparently. |

Unless there's some kind of nominations twist, I imagine Shilpa will be up for eviction, with votes from Jade, Jack, Jo and Danielle. The significant thing will be who she's up against.
I really feel for her. She does her best to defend herself against the abuse she receives from the other girls, but just gets shouted down into submission.

Or to say "fuck" I will conceed that it sounds nice when she pronounces it "fooch" (the ch being the Scotch sound in "loch"). Last night was so depressing. I just feel ashamed. How did we get to the point where people are lauded for being thicker than the earth's crust? Why is Jade's barely human boyfriend on my telly? I thought his brain was going to explode like in Scanners or Mission Impossible III when BB was telling him why men have nipples. His eyes were darting around with panic at not understanding a single word that was being said. I really really fucking hate Jade, Danielle, Jack and increasingly Jo. Surely this whole mess removes any doubt that Jade is completely past her sell-by date? I'm holding out hope that Dirk will save the day and stand up to the ignorant scumbags. H crying in the toilet is all very well, but why can't anyone say anything? |

Jade, Danielle (and Jo) are ignorant and I can see them being quite spiteful, but were they really racist or just rather nasty?
Shipla desite being of a similar age and sex comes from a very different background to them, it's like the law of the playground taken to a higher level - a clique is formed and she has no part in it.
Why was H crying in the toilets?
I would never willingly go into a place like the Big Brother house.

Most of the bullying takes a fairly traditional format led by Jade, but Danielle in particular has made a number of comments now, one of which was that Indian people were thin because they were always being sick because of eating undercooked food or something (with regard to Shilpa's cooking) and that "they" eat with their hands. I guess the awful Jackiey (I feel ridiculous just typing that) kicked things off by referring to Shilpa as "The Indian". Jo and Danielle have also made fun of Shilpa's accent. There's more detail and dissection of what's been said on the Guardian Unlimited website. Even John McCrirrick screamed that Danielle was a racist on BBBM last night and some audience members felt that way. I do suspect that Jade, Danielle, Jack and Jo are too ignorant to even realise that people see their bitching as having racist undercurrents. Things seem to be heating up immensely outside of the house. Ofcom has now had 3500 complaints about racism on the show and C4 have had 1000 direct complaints. While there's debate about what Jack actually said, it's been reported in the Indian press that he called Shilpa a "paki" (C4 say he called her a "cunt"). Bizarrely, Gordon Brown arrives in India today and is expected to meet with a hostile press. H was crying because he hates the bullying. |

H was crying because he hates the bullying. I felt bad for him in the middle of it all. The weird thing I felt was when he was saying in the diary room about the bullying he was wearing no top. In fact he seems to get his tits out at any excuse. But he does seem like a nice guy. Cleo seems nice and while I thought Jermaine was boring I'm glad that he is in the house as he is someone to stick up for Shilpa. Dannielle is a nasty piece of work and although we've only seen it since Jade came in, I think that might also be coincidence at that now we are seeing her true colours as she's finding it harder to pretend to be nice when she's not. |

By the way, regarding my earlier comment, when are nominations this week? Normally they happen on a Monday, then the result is announced on Tuesday, with eviction on Friday. With two evictions last week, that didn't happen, but there's been no mention of nominations on the BB website at all. Any idea?
4,500 complaints now about all this racism. The worst bit was Jo (or Danielle) saying people in India must be so thin because they're ill from badly-cooked food. I just cringed, it was an awful moment.
I can but hope that Davina will at least ask Danielle/Jo/Jade/Jack some serious questions about it on their evictions, but I fear it'll all get laughed off like in Jackiey's interview.

People are debating whether its racist or not. How can anyone not think its racially motivated bullying with comments about "Indian cooking" and what not. Whatever Jack said, so uncalled for. Shilpa to win just to piss everyone off and for not retaliating (ok I dont even watch but from what I gathered she hasn't retaliated)

She didn't ignore the chicken advice. She said 'i'm going to cook the chicken for 40 mins and they were like 'you need 2 hours' so she put it in for 2 hours. And then they said it wasn't done so another 8 mins and it was fine. |

Thanks for putting me straight on the chicken thing, my only defence is i'm a bit ill and therefore probably a little closer to the Jack end of the comprehension spectrum at the moment.
I never thought I'd say it, but my extensive S Club video collection is starting to seem a little tarnished. Everything Danielle says sounds evil. Jade/Jack remains a nightmare.

just flicked to the live streaming. it appears danielle has been called to the diary room and jo and jade are sat at the dining table looking like shit, no make-up on, bad hair, bad cardi (jade) and dressing-gown (jo, who appears to live in this now), jo smoking a faaag and they're both pondering if they're in trouble. it is exactly like watching two of the less pretty ones from prisoner cell block h in a scene from one of the crap episodes that didn't have bea smith or rita connors in.
