If Somethingbiblical's as drunk as I'm sure she was when she wrote that post then she'll burn better than the sun.

Hello my name is Emma which while I'm sure is quite a popular name for the 80's (although this is what my parents have said) I can only name Emma RIgby and Emma Forbes as my namesakes
I have been reading lowculture for anbout a year, since I've turned off from neighbours and coronation street onto hollyoaks and eastenders from big brother to america's next top model
Let's just say i am maturing!
I can't really think of anything else to say apart from I know Will Young!

Hello ladyred. I like you, even though you make me think of Chris Deburgh.
You really need to switch Coronation Street with Eastenders and you'll be watching the best two Soaps. Although Hollyoaks can be both the best soap and the worst soap in any given week/episode, can't it? Will Young! Congratulations on knowing him. Tell him not to dance while he performs (because it makes me cringe)
I used to fancy Emma Forbes when she was on Live & Kicking. How odd.

Ahh the Bunton, I always think of her as baby Bunton was always her when we played spice girls. I know my name is Emma and I have blonde hair, but please can I be posh?!
Oh Hollyoaks both the joy and bane of my life, at times it can be brilliant as witnessed with Claire being a lady in red anf giving a knowing smile to the camera, but HO has also given us Rapebot - why does HO hate us?
Also meant to add, I am a fellow Birminghoonian (I made that word up by the way)

Is getting a royal python and naming it Anna Wintour appropriately lowculture? As well as the gayest thing to happen to a serpent since chanel made a snakskin belt?

Hello.
My name is Zoe, as in Ball and Wanamaker, and my hero is Billie Piper.
My favourite Hollyoaks character of all time is Lee Hunter and I hope to one day marry Charlie Brooker.
I have a slight lisp and I currently want Rhydian to win the X Factor.
Hello.

Why thank you. That's the best thing I've received all day.
I was offered a Quality Street earlier, but there were only coconut ones and toffee pennies left.

Hi, Welcome
I think you will have a fight on your hands for Brooker

I'm not worried, you can't fight fate. I just hope I don't have to go through Aisleyne... I mean Ash-e-leeeeyne.
And thanks for the welcome.

Hello Zozrat! Your X Factor and Quality Street preferences concern me somewhat, but your ace name more than makes up for them. It sounds like a drunk alien.

Thanks! It's my brother's nickname for me... perhaps I should ask him just what he's implying?
I am drunk a lot of the time. Not now though, everyone knows you can't have a glass of wine until Hollyoaks starts.
As for the Quality Street issue, if you want a toffee penny or one of the blue coconut ones feel free, there's loads of them left, I'll pop a couple in the post for you.

That is a very kind offer. In return I will send you the nuts from the Hazelnut In Caramels that I have spat out, along with the strawberry/orange cream ones.
The No Wine Before Hollyoaks rule only applies to Sundays.

The strawberry and orange creams are my favourites (now the coffee creams are no more), we'll have to work out some kind of forum swap shop come Christmas.
I'm going on the old exercise bike during Hollyoaks - I'll drink the cheap wine during Top Model, while shouting at Renee for being a bi-at-ch!

I'm lahgee. I become fixated on any BBC Saturday evening reality knockout show, and if it's a genre I don't actually like such as musicals, more's the better. I work shifts so also have my fair share of daytime favourites such as the marvellous Judge Judy, and I will sit through any list show or episode of Dog Borstal.
Non rubbish programmes I like include Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Six Feet Under, The Wire and anything with John Simm in it.
My favourite Quality Street is the Green Triangle.
I noticed you were all fixated with Charlie Brooker and realised you were probably my people.
Hello.

I bloody love Judge Judy, the right wing cow. No-one has never made Republicans seem more sensible. Even though they're evil.

Oh, I'd never advocate her politics, I'd just like to sit in a big chair and shout at people. Also, prior to any financial transaction, I like to consider "What would Judge Judy do?"

Welcome goose, our first Indy recruit. Hope you settle in OK. The fact that you get the whole LOLyoaks concept is a very good start. You will probably be fine...
