I'm getting really annoyed about this, because I don't have ITV2 and ITV1 are buggering up their continuation of this to show pointless world cup previews/highlights/extra-extra-analysis. I'm only up to the evil painting but there was no river of slime episode - everyone's going to get the ending about a month before me (and other unfortunate undigitilised souls). Sad face. I'm confused by the scheduling too, although it probably doesn't help that some weeks I watch it on ITV2 and other times I watch it on ITV1. When the hell was Dead Man's Blood actually on? It seemed to jump from Provenance to the first part of the season finale. Which pisses me off, because vampires make the best supernatural villains, after maybe werewolfs (which I hope they tackle next season.)

I *think* I saw the vampire episode on Thursday night, ITV2, which would have first been shown on Sunday on ITV2. Unless they weren't vampires? I only saw the last 15mins, and was so overwhelmed by my first glimpse of Daddy Winchester that I can't be sure exactly what they were fighting. I'm confused by the scheduling as well.
And don't worry, I think I'll be the last to see the finale - I don't always (well hardly ever) have access to the freeview telly, and at least you get the episode on ITV1 at some stage - in the UTV region, we get a political show (arrrgh) in place of Trevor McDonald's show, which in turn takes Supernatural's slot. It's just NOT shown AT ALL. Bastards. I might start downloading shows again if channels can't get their scheduling sorted.

The finale really is worth the wait, I promise you. It was one of my favourite episodes of the whole series.

As far as I know, "Dead Mans Blood" hasn't been shown on ITV1 yet. It's worth the wait though- it leads in nicely to "Salvation" and then the finale "Devils Trap". Roll on the dvd! And not at all because I want to see the extra entitled "A day in the life of Jared and Jensen"......

I saw the trailer for the final episode today and started squeeeing all over again. Also, finally, ITV2 made a trailer that doesn't give away the ending - hooray!

KLAXON! KLAXON! According to radiotimes.com, 'Dead Man's Blood' is on ITV1 tomorrow at 11pm. Dean! Sam! Slutty vampires! What more could you ask for?

I'm very confused- they showed "Dead mans blood" last night and yet next week, apparently, its "Devils trap". Salvation anyone? The finale was bloody amazing though.

The Radio Times has got 'Salvation' showing on Monday, assuming that ITV shows a World Cup game that evening, and 'Devil's Trap' on Wednesday. Quite when they'll show 'Salvation' if there isn't football on ITV on Monday night, I don't know.

I could've been seeing double or just hallucinating altogether, but I could've sworn I saw two episodes in row scheduled for ITV2 last night (had to go, so I don't know if this was true). I saw it on that built in guide you get with the freeview box though, and it's only slightly helpful at the best of times so it was probably wrong.
What is the title of the finale's episode called? I'm a bit lost.

The finale is called 'Devil's Trap'. I find the episode titles a bit confusing sometimes too - a few of them sound a bit similar.

Itv2 has started to repeat them, from the beginning, on Saturday nights from 10pm. Saturday just gone we had Pilot, Wendigo ("Oh sweetheart, I don't do shorts") and Dead In The Water.

"Oh sweetheart, I don't do shorts" That line convinced me that Dean and I are destined to be together. We have so much in common!

HRRRNNNNKKKKK! The Season 2 spoilers are already starting, and it looks like the premiere episode (airing in September in the States) will be called "In my time of death" and it looks like it will be set in a hospital. How exciting!

NNNGH! Anything spoilery under a cut, please. I know the above isn't too spoilery, and this isn't specifically named at you, Jen, but I just really want to be unspoiled for the next series, plskthx.

Says the guy who's going to watch the whole thing on the internet months before any other brits! Ok so after looking at some of the script pages for the first episode, it looks like: Sam and Daddy W survive, but Dean goes comatose and is very near death. He meets a grim reaper (out of body experience type stuff) and nearly dies, until Daddy does a deal with a demon type chap to get him a reprieve. None of this is confirmed though, and it could all be fake. The script pages I saw gave a great indication of what an excellent episode it could be though.

Says the guy who's going to watch the whole thing on the internet months before any other brits! That's exactly why, though! If you wait until it's on telly over here, then you're bound to find out what happens one way or another before it airs. If you watch it by *cough* other measures, it's easier (although still not simple) to keep yourself spoiler-free and watch the show in the joy of knowing that you have no idea what's going to happen.

Hey, I've started watching this on ITV2 on Satuarday nights. The one I watched in its entirity was about the boy's old house, and ended with what I guess was the first appearance of their dad.
My question is, whereabouts in the season am I watching it from and if there are three eps a week, how many week will there be? I plan to tape them each Saturday to watch on Sunday mornings instead of T4.
Oh, and the little brother is hynoptically beautiful.

That was episode nine, 'Home' (http://thewb.warnerbros.com/web/show_episode.jsp?id=SN108). There are 22 episodes in this season, so assuming you have three a week from episode nine onwards, that's 4 1/3 weeks according to my calculations.
You may have to fight Jen for Sam, I'm afraid. Thankfully, no one has questioned my complete ownership of Dean.

There's actually only two on this Saturday- "Asylum" and "Scarecrow". Interesting Non fact- The Girl Of The Week in "Scarecrow" is actually Jensen Ackles real life girlfriend! Definitely. He is my favourite tv boyfriend of all time. I can't wait for the towel scene in 'Hell House' again. No one here anyway! There are rumours going round that there will be a recurring character of young female hunter in the next series (completely unconfirmed rumours mind) and over on Supernatural.tv they are having complete anyerisms. It's really, really scary.

It's really, really scary. Gah! There'd better not be. I mean, it's the sort of thing I'd entirely expect the show to do because the network probably wants some female eye-candy, but I'm in complete agreement with the person on TWoP who said the only females in this show should be old, evil or on fire. Seriously, they should just look at the horrified fan reaction they had on Charmed when they tried to introduce a sassy young witch last season to draw in the male viewers and the tweens - they actually managed to drive away some of the diehards because it made the show so awful. If they introduce a young female hunter and she's played by Kaley Cuoco, I may have to shoot somebody. It's just not a concept I like the sound of. They'd probably introduce some kind of Sam/Dean/New Girl love triangle and that would suck. It's fine if they squabble comically over the Girl of the Week, but that's always a B- or C-plot. If that stuff takes the forefront over the ghosthunting, the family issues and the Angst, I will be pissed off. And here ends my ranting over something that hasn't even been confirmed yet. Reading back over this post, I think this kind of outrage over an unconfirmed rumour makes me officially a deranged fanboy.

I always thought, from the first episode that they would bring in a young female hunter who would hook up with one of the boys though- it just seemed an obvious direction. They can't keep it as just the two boys forever. They also can't keep it as "demon of the week" forever either- they need some plot arcs beyond "mummy died/im psychic/dads a wanker". Well, you haven't started a petition against it yet, so you're already behind the girls.

To be honest as well, I'd really like the idea of a young, strong female hunter in the show. So far women are only represented as being dead, evil, in peril or one night stands. I hate to get all feminist, but it's not a great representation of women, and I'd expected that to change- so I don't understand why most female fans don't see it.
