Last night was the most amazing night ever, there was complete carnival atmosphere. I've never seen such happy crowd of people, everyone was chatting to strangers and getting excited. I knew I had pretty good seats but never realised quite how good they were. We were a bit confused to why there was a row in front of A but thought it must be for cameramen. And then Posh's family arrived, I tell you it was the most surreal experience seeing David walk in later (wearing a rather lovely hat). Once the show started there was no time to perve however. I'm putting it in spoiler tabs because I had avoided the set list and am so glad I did. Where to start?! The whole thing was fab from beginning to end, it really put home that they never had a bad single. Highlights were... Say You'll Be There: This was the first time they came down the catwalk and I got a real good look, Victoria looks beautiful in real life. It was a revelation to see her smiling. Mel C actually smiled directly at me (I know everyone thinks this, but she really did, honest!)
Viva Forever: Cranking up the latin was great, the whole thing was completely beautiful and poignant, I'm not ashamed to say I was practically crying as Geri faded down into the set.
Holler: Never been my favourite song but the arrangement and the band really made it. Victoria completely went for her lines. If the comic strip visuals aren't on the dvd I will be most displeased.
Who Do You Think You Are. Utterly amazing, any doubt to how important a group they are musically and 'culturally' should be put to rest now.
The Encore: Perfect.
Thinking about it I could just list everything, it was all so good. I'll second what Sean says, everytime Victoria opened her mouth the crowd went nuts, the girls all seemed so happy and relaxed with each other which is nice.
Sorry for such a shit 'review', I don't like making big posts but this really was the greatest show on earth and I wanted to post something. As well as Team Beckham I saw Rhianna (from a distance), Will Young, Marc Almond, the vocal coaches off Fame Academy and Gillian Mckeith. (Also Matt Di'Angelo in Topman this morning-he is very small)

I coud rewatch it every night of my life and never get bored. I don't know where to start with the review other than to say it was amazing and the crowd loved it.

This may be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway: Is it just baby, posh, scary and sporty on Holler, or does Geri join in?

Very sensible question. Geri leaves the girls at the end of Viva Forever, descending through the floor (I loved this). The four remaining then do Holler (brilliantly), then they do some solo stuff (including Geri's) followed by Let Love Lead The Way, also without Geri, who rejoins them at the very end so they can go on to sing Mama. They sing Goodbye as a full five piece later, with Geri just singing in the chorus.

Went along to this on Sunday night and I felt genuinely sad by the end of it that they're not back together permanently.
It was such a great atmosphere and the setlist really did remind me how many fantastic songs they have produced. 2 Become 1, Who Do You Think You Are and Spice Up Your Life were particularly strong.
I *loved* how the crowd cheered ridiculously loud every time Posh sang.

I am glad everyone is still going bonkers for Posh. I went on Saturday but was so far away that I absolutely have to go again. My highlights: he cartoon visuals behind ‘Holler’ that somehow made every SG look like Cheryl Cole. - the full on Gatecrasher “I Turn To You” - “Viva Forever” making me nearly cry! - how at times it felt like The Geri Halliwell Show - The chants of “GERI, GERI, GERI” before ‘It’s Raining Men’ - Them playing a snippit of Run DMC vs Jason Nevins “It’s Like That” before “Stop”; the very song that made “Stop” the only (old) Spice single not to reach number 1. - Geri’s union Jack dress

Can't you find another friend to go with you?

Would it be wrong of me to suggest that I was a little underwhelmed by it all.
I did have a good time, but was surrounded by lots of mental Spice fanatics who virtually orgasmed everytime ANYTHING happened.
Who Do You Think You Are was my favourite bit....

Ooh, it's only one whole day and some hours away for me now.
We are nervous because we have to go all the way from Aberystwyth to London in the day, and currently the trains between Brum and London are screwy and snow is forecast.

I can't wait either, I just hope I have enough room to do the proper "la la la..." arm swaying moves. I leave for London Friday night so we'll fall asleep on the megabus (!) then just go wild Saturday, and finally our concert on the Tuesday.

I am now going to this because my friend is coming all the way from Glasgow and the three other people meant to be going pulled out on him. I am secretly a bit excited about going but didn't want to pay fifty quid.

Well that was just marvellous really.
There was quite a bit wrong with it (the creaky staging, slightly rubbish dancers and the half arsed Spice Up Your Life at the end to name the key ones), but I still loved every second because it was all fun and it was the Spice Girls, the biggest band in history (that I can get excited about). I never thought I'd get to see them live.
I do not think I have ever been so excited as I was during the 20 seconds prior to them rising up through the stage. I very nearly combusted.
Particular Highlights thoughitwasallbrillianttobehonest: - The opening, obviously - The insanely loud cheers for posh (helped along by me) - The Lady Is A Vamp, Stop, Wannabe, 2 Become 1, Mama, Posh's Catwalk, I Turn To You (how surprising). It's Raining Men was a fantastic performance only marred by the fact that she should have done Look At Me or Bag It Up with the Inflatable Legs that she's surely still got in her garage.
David was there with one of the boys. Just before it started there was a massive commotion right in front of the stage and we figured that a big star must have arrived. THEN we saw the back of a lady with two tone hair and thought it was BEVERLY CALLARD and got excited but in Mama they showed Dave on the big screen so we were highly disappointed. I suspect Bev'll go to one of the Manchester dates.
Oh, did everyone else get Mel B's northern rap in If You Can't Dance? She didn't do it for us but admitted that she'd messed up, so I wondered whether it was that.

No, she didn't do the comedy Leeds rapping for us on the 15th either. They just walked down the catwalk chanting "If U Can't Dance..." Me and my sister were ready to burst into the rap every two seconds, but, alas, it never came.
I agree, Geri should have performed Bag It Up (by the way, if you got the Spice Girls Karaoke CD with the Greatest Hits you can sing Bag It Up over the instrumental version of Who Do You Think You Are - it fits perfectly).

I was gonna do the whole 'My thoughts' thing but I agree with everyone else especially on:
-I Turn To You being one of the genuine highlights. It made me remember I liked Mel C's solo stuff a lot -Viva Forever's revved up Latin feel. Already an amazing song, made even more amazing. I half expected Alisha to come on Paso-ing up a storm. -Victoria Beckham's cheers. It was kind of like a parent encouraging their unconfident child. -It's Raining Men. I had completely forgotten my fifteen year old Geri love: I was incredibly happy to see she has in no way forgotten how to work a crowd. Her pyro at the chorus was fab too. -The Encore - Anything with a countdown is alright by me! -Everything about Holler - The background video, the 'dog on a leash', Posh pwning her lines -Special mention to Mel B's whip and top of the ladder Catwoman style working of said whip. -The surprise of the confetti cannon during the second Spice Up You Life. I have so much of it in my bag.
I am incredibly excited about the DVD but it is my intention to befriend Derren Brown in the next month and meet all the girls seperately, tricking them into signing an agreement for a UK tour.

So, while it's confirmed that there will be no DVD some amazing fan has put together a bootleg of crappy mixed quality, which is good enough for me to remember how fucking amazing this was. Every time I watch this video below it breaks my heart that it just... ends. I want to see the Spices singing Spice Up Your Life on top of their podiums in full professionally-shot DVD quality uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ_8-0JCPTw&feature=related

Seriously, what the fuck was Simon Fuller thinking? Was his completely retarded mismanagement of the whole project some sort of revenge on the Spice Girls for sacking his fat orange ass ten years ago?
How on Earth could they justify dismissing the idea of a DVD? Or was he just so dumb that it didn't actually come to mind until a squillion ranty fans shouted loud enough, at which point the tour had ended?
Still, it must be said, that clip proper gives me the warm 'n' fuzzies.

There's a guy who's running a Facebook group requesting the release of the DVD who claims that 19 are showing some interest in releasing the concert if enough people show an interest.
Could be rubbish, but it's worth joining the group if you can as it can't do any harm.
